Stayed in the area for a week while on vacation, and honestly this little diner was one of the most memorable highlights of the trip. Fantastic food, good portions and very reasonable prices. If the weather is right, the tables on the large covered porch are a great spot to have a meal. Had the three meat breakfast burrito two different times and it was terrific!

Sure hope Winter Harbor and the Schoodic area in general aren’t discovered, so to speak, as it is such a nice location to enjoy small town coastal Maine while having reasonable access to (generally overcrowded) Acadia...

came here on reccomendation by our air bnb host (also one of the few breakfast places around) it was super cute, if it wasnt so chilly we would have sat outside. Pancakes were amazing, sausage and coffee were better than an average diner. My husband didnt love his meal but I think it was more not his taste than a quality or preperation discussion. Our server was fast, the rest of the staff was helpful and even brought our toddler some animal crackers while we ate. Overall cute local breakfast spot, would...

There’s just something about a Maine brunch 🥞 No muss, no fuss, come as you are! Order a stack of fresh blueberry pancakes & the Admiral Ben sandwich with local Grindstone Neck smoked salmon, capers & cream cheese 😋 Not in the mood for breaky? No problem.. lunch is served all day too! Grab a tuna melt, delicious chowdah, lobsta chunks or some tasty beef dogs. Don’t forget the @rayesmustardmill - a local fave here in Downeast Maine! Fun fact: I grew up coming to JM Gerrish as a kid. They used to have penny candy & still serve up yummy milkshakes, ice cream, cookies & pies 🥧 🍬🍦 📍Winter Harbor, Maine #foodblogger #foodblog #foodblogfeed #foodie #foodies #foodiegram #foodporn #market #acadianationalpark #downeast #maine #breakfast #brunch #blueberrypancakes #blueberry #pancakes #smokedsalmon #hotdog #rayesmustard #downbytheshore #winterharbor #mangiamama #mangia

This place was outstanding in every way possible . It’s a restaurant, bakery and ice cream parlor all rolled into one , with both indoor and outdoor seating. We went for breakfast and my wife had the ham and cheese omelette, she said it was the best she’s ever had . I had a breakfast sandwich on a fresh roll with bacon and cheese it was fantastic. The coffee was hot and fresh and really good . We purchased a few slices of blueberry pie to go . We highly recommend this place .

Came here for breakfast and loved the cozy atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the food! I ordered the Admiral Ben Bagel: Bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions and capers. I had already eaten half before I remembered to take a picture. It was a great balance of salty, savory, a little sweet and sour from the tomatoes and capers. I also took a chocolate croissant to go. Would eat here again if we come back to the area!
