Andrea’s Family Restaurant offers a variety of dishes in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. While our visit provided a decent dining experience, the restaurant fell short of meeting our expectations in certain aspects, resulting in a mixed review.
Upon entering Andera's, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive server who promptly seated us. The service throughout our meal was exceptional, with our server displaying professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuine willingness to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable.
The highlight of our visit was the beef onion soup, which was a favorite among our family members. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portion size was generous. It was evident that care had been taken in preparing the soup, and it was one of the standout dishes of the afternoon.
However, our overall impression of the food was not as favorable. While it was not necessarily bad, it also did not meet our expectations. There was a lack of consistency in the preparation of the dishes, as some seemed to be merely reheated rather than freshly prepared. This resulted in a loss of freshness and flavor, which was disappointing.
The portion sizes at Andera's were commendable, as they were ample enough to satisfy our appetites. However, the quality of the ingredients used in some of the dishes left room for improvement. While the flavors were adequate, there was a noticeable difference in the quality and freshness of certain ingredients.
In terms of ambiance, Andera's exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant had a cozy and family-friendly vibe, which added to the overall dining experience. The seating was comfortable, and the staff maintained a clean and organized environment throughout our visit.
While Andera's did not fully meet our expectations, it is important to note that our experience may not be representative of every visit to the restaurant. It is possible that our visit coincided with an off day in terms of food preparation. We acknowledge that every establishment can have occasional lapses in consistency.
In conclusion, our visit to Andera's Family Restaurant provided a mixed dining experience. While the beef onion soup and the service were highlights, the overall quality and consistency of the food fell short of our expectations. We appreciate the efforts of the staff and the inviting ambiance of the restaurant. It is our hope that Andera's will take our feedback into consideration to enhance the overall dining experience for...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to try Andrea's in Winter Haven for the first time today. We were enticed by the dinner for 2 special that they have on Friday and Saturday. We arrived around 4:30 pm. It wasn't very busy and we were seated immediately. Our server, Lori, was quick to arrive with a flash card with the specials listed and available sides on the back. She took our drink orders and left us to decide. We already knew what we wanted, but had some questions, so when she returned we asked about the dinner for 2. As it turns out, it is an incredible deal. You can choose by land or by sea. We went with by land. We each got a salad, a soup, a pork chop, a steak, and a chicken kabob. We also got 2 sides each. All of this for $32.99 plus tax and gratuity. We got our salads and it was enormous for a side salad. Their house made ranch is very delicious. Next was soup. Very tasty, I got the beef barley (sorry, no pics, I was eating. Lol) and my wife got the chicken noodle. After that, we were both saying that we were already pretty full, but then came the main course. It was so good. All the protien was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Needless to say, we left very full and plenty of leftovers for later. Lori was an exceptional server and very attentive, as well as funny. They have a great atmosphere and we definitely...
Read moreShowed up at 8:09 but Must have been a bad time to go to Andrea's. Food was taking way too long for breakfast(45min) I had to be somewhere at 9 knowing it's always been fast. So we showed up, greeted right away, sat at a table, waited a good 5min, then a man sat down behind us but then greeted right a way from a server, I had to then ask for service. Got my kids order in while I asked for the specials which come on a flash card. I told the waitress to put his order in and to please bring me a tea. She returns a few minutes later to give a sweetened tea which she automatically assumed I wanted. I asked her to bring me an unsweet after placing my order. Well around 10min later I had to remind her about my tea. By this time my kids meal showed up. He eats it all and my food still has yet to show up. I told them we had to go, waited too long....then all the sudden they were on top of everything, oh its ready now you sure you dont want it? I'm like no, this what happens when It takes 45min and the service was bad...then they were like want it to go? I say no again. The Tea that i had to ask for again and waited again for, that i took 2 sips out of they still charged me for it.....it was the way the whole situation was handled was just horrible....$8.53 for a waffle a biscuit and a tea...not a single apology for...
