I walked in around 12:30 for pick up. I ordered one item the Olympian Pita, but before I get into that let's talk about the ambiance and service. It was a bit busy inside as expected for lunch which is a good sign. The restaurant itself looks a bit small from the outside, but is much bigger on the inside. I quite enjoyed the atmosphere as I like the hustle and bustle a bit.
The service itself was lacking. I had my phone in hand so the employee knew I was there for a pick up. She wasn't the most friendly and didn't seem happy at all. But service was quick and simple.
Okay now let's get to my most important part the food. I only ordered one item and I did it through uber eats. When ordering through uber eats the food always cost more even if you pick it up yourself. So why would I order through uber eats? The reason being they had a bogo special. So normally the food would cost 11.89 for one Olympian Pita. I paid the uber eats price of 15.29 and got two Olympian pitas!
The Pita itself was sizeable. Weighing in at 1.09 lbs it would fill up most people. The Pita itself was a bit flaky and fell apart easily. I prefer it more doughy. The chicken in the gyro was a bit dry. The gyro was standard. The tarziki sauce was excellent and they put ALOT of it which I enjoy. Maybe that was to cover up the dryness of the chicken. The meat to vegetable ratio was 2/3 to 1/3. I usually crave more meat but would actually have preferred a bit more tomatoes and onions. Either than that with a bogo special I would definitely do this again. But for normal pricing I wouldn't.

Read moreBottom line, you couldn’t pay me enough to go back and eat here. Waiting 30 min for 2 gyros, fries and a soup (the restaurant was empty, mind you) wasn’t the worst part of our experience here. The food finally arrived missing the side orders. When I asked the server she said “oh yea that’s coming next” clearly having forgotten them. The soup came out really cold, when I inquired if this was normal, the gentleman behind the counter said “oops that’s not supposed to happen” he asked his coworker to heat it up, and when I asked if I could have one from the heated batch next to him she said “nah don’t worry it’s already in the microwave”. As if that was supposed to make me feel good? Then we get the fries, completely burnt, soggy, greasy and, because I didn’t want to deal with them, I put them in the trash. The staff was completely heedless and seemed to be drowning in the two orders hanging on the order rail. Last surprise of evening, as we’re doing our best to enjoy what is supposed to be “a quick dinner” before the show, we had a visit on the wall in a form of a cockroach crawling right next to our toddler’s elbow. Like a true gentleman I killed it with a napkin at hand without her knowledge, and went to the counter to inform the young lady (or a guy? Not even sure), (s)he said “would you like a free desert?”. Like that was my main concern at that point. Needless to say, we threw what was left of the gyros and left the premises, this time never looking back (I should mention that we came here 2 years ago and had a not-nearly-as-bad of an experience but didn’t want to come back, tonight somehow I convinced my wife to give them another chance. Boy...
Read moreMy review is for the girl at the register with the glasses. I went there placed my order, asked a few questions, paid and went next door to buy a few things. Came back about 20 minutes later and food still wasn’t done. I don’t mind waiting because at least my food is fresh. What upset me was she hands me the pita and I’m missing a few items. When I question her she has an attitude. I ordered a lemon soup and she said I didn’t hear you say that. Ok, I didn’t check the receipt so that could be my fault. I ordered a coke, she said I forgot to tell you we only have Pepsi. Ok not a big deal. She’s getting ready to charge me the soup, I told her to forget it, I just wanted to leave. She hands me my bag and I ask where are the chicken skewers and potatoes. She rolls her eyes. I get annoyed and say just give me my potatoes because I was about to lose it. She starts looking for a receipt to see what I ordered. She had gloves that she was handling food with then digs in the garbage and then goes back to handling food. That’s GROSS!!! Pretty sure that’s some sort of department of health violation. Now she doesn’t even want to help me. Talking about me to the girl cooking next to her. It’s not that hard to hand someone a correct order. You make a mistake, apologize and fix the problem. Instead she acted like I was the problem. Like I made the mistake. Thank God for the nice guy who helped me get my order straight. I did say to him that she needs to check her attitude. I promise you that you will lose customers if that girl continues to treat...
