My family and I were really disappointed with our meal tonight at this ihop and will most likely not be returning. Although we were seated quickly, my family and I thought it was really quiet and lacked music so the atmosphere was really lacking.
After placing our orders, the food that arrived at the table was subpar, incorrect, and flat out missing. My brother's burger was missing bacon and my father's plate had extra bacon and no ham when he had ordered ham. Our waitress took the plates and returned with the food rather quickly, which had us suspecting that she swapped his (cold) bacon for ham and placed it on my brother's burger. My father also did not appreciate what he assumed was the waitress chewing on what seemed to be the remaining bacon they took off of his plate when she returned. The remaining food was warm at best, and they completely forgot my brother's waffle and my omelette and pancakes entirely. My entire family had almost finished their meals entirely and I was still waiting for my dinner. My food was hot and delicious, but it sucked having to watch the rest of my family enjoy their meals while I waited. While our waitress was kind and attentive, the service was some of the worst we have seen in quite some time.
Another issue we had with this establishment was that the food seems really overpriced for the small portions they serve. After the manager comped my missing omelette and my brother's missing waffle, the entire order still came to over 130 dollars. While we did pay with no argument, it truly is frustrating to pay so much for the poor service and small portions we received when we dined today. This was a really disappointing experience and I would honestly suggest eating somewhere else (especially if this is the type of service they offer during less...
Read moreThe waitress Marissa took care of our service. We couldn't eat the fries because they were too salty and we asked for them to be changed to less salty ones. The waitress Marissa first wanted to take the fries on my plate to another plate while I had a chicken biscuit sandwich with it. Food is not taken from the plate in front of the customer, as a waitress she doesn't know this! When we said this was not right, she brought them on a different plate. As soon as the food on our plates was finished, she brought the check and asked us to pay. I was still drinking my coffee! When we said that we were drinking coffee, maybe we would continue, and that this was not right, she said this was routine. But the ladies sitting at the table behind us were sitting when we arrived, and they were still sitting when we left. In other words, they wanted to tell us to "get up and leave"! We had to leave the table before our coffee was finished! This practice, which is done just because we asked for the fries to be changed, is absolutely unacceptable! Just so you know, if you come here and are not satisfied with a food, you will be subjected to this unacceptable practice. Especially if you come across the waitress Marissa and the manager, it's only a matter of time before you get fired! Because according to them, the food may not be salty, the customer is bad, they are unfair! I hope you get the treatment you deserve with your other customers and empty tables and question why you are not a good waiter...
Read moreWent yesterday for a late breakfast, ordered the buttermilk biscuit and gravy combo. Asked for eggs over medium. Well, they brought out the eggs and biscuit as if that was the entire order. In addition, they brought out the eggs fried hard. I called the waitress over and asked her what happened to the rest of my order, she looked at me with a puzzled look on her face and I suggested she check the menu. Once she verified that my order was incomplete I also asked her to redo the eggs because that’s how I ordered them. She eventually brought out the rest of the order in addition to the eggs redone. Well the eggs were fried hard again, and I asked her does she know what over medium means? She claims she forwarded the request to the cook and that’s the way they cooked the eggs. I asked for the manager and he came over and I explained the situation to him and he’s standing there giving a blank look like he’s in a daze. I asked him does he know what eggs over medium are and to be honest I don’t think he knew either!. Well, after I explained they finally brought the eggs out like I ordered. I don’t normally write a bad review but the incompetence is something I have NEVER experienced before in a restaurant! I just had to let let folks know what happened there, they either new retraining or a...
