Mama Lena's Restaurant & Pizza — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I have made my 2nd trip to Mama Lena's restaurant. The first time i came i had the two slices and they were great. Slices are great portions and are very tasteful. But this time around i went to the dine in portion of the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and clean. Upon arrival you a greeted right away and sat. They don't sell liquor that i could see. But i did see other tables had wine. Probably a BYOB. They garlic knots are the right amount of oil and garlic. The piece of bread that is given additional to the garlic knots is ok. I enjoyed the garlic knots more. The side salad is given but mine was put together poorly. My guest had no dressing where as mine had way to much. I was not able to finish it. My guest and i ordered two chicken theme dishes. Mine was the chicken Alfredo that was very plain. My alfredo was no creamy at all. It look and tasted watery. My guest had a chicken dishes with pasta. Both dishes lacked seasoning. it was very plain. I added salt to my dish. The service was great. Every server and busser where wonderful. The worst experience and will not be returing here. Awful service. Seems like our start waitress did not want to serve us and we ended with the other waitress. We were overcharged for eating at the restauraunt side of the pizzeria because there booths were both occupied. When I asked the waitress why all of our items were over the amount which was stated on the menu her response was that we pay for the tablecloth on the table... Umm what?!?! My tortellini Alfredo was 13 and I got charged 17.50 and when I asled about that she said well you got a sode salad which was drenched with vinegar and the lettuce was old and soggy. I said well the menu says it comes with a salad and again with the table cloth excuse. so I was charged an extra 4.50 for the Worst salad ive ever had.. My husband went to the restaurant alone to celebrate his father’s birthday and I couldn’t go because our baby got a little cold… so I orders to please get me a manicotti to bring come from the restaurant and THEY were TERRIBLE felt like frozen NOT FRESH AT ALL… wayyyy too much cheese on top thrown … they try to Musk up the taste … I was really looking forward to them BUT WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED… because I heard good reviews from others but my dish was just AWEFUL… not from a restaurant…

I hope the manager of this restaurant will READ MY REVIEW and take this seriously because SELLING FROZEN ESPECIALLY ITALIAN FOOD at a restaurant is SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!

You should make your own food dishes from scratch and if you cannot do that then you should close and NOT OWN this business seriously!!! Such a disappointment!!!

Hope they can improve and make dishes from scratch and use less cheese to Musk...
