Review criteria:
I typically grab and go but today I wanted to enjoy my meal inside the a/c. I used the mobile app bc it's convenient and I can customize my meal the way I like.
Most of the tables inside are labeled "table service". So I often select it bc it's available for free and who doesnt want a fine dining experience for $6?
APPARENTLY.... One of the female employees working the afternoon front to go orders, decided today was the day she was going to refuse table service.
After calling my mobile order out, I reminded her my order was for table service and had an convenient ad with QR code for table service and I'd like my order in that format as requested in the app.
She stated "we are no longer doing that". She brought up "It's COVID" as the reason why she wouldn't table service my food. Mind you, there's zero restrictions on mask mandates in NJ right now.
There's no spike in COVID cases in Middlesex County this month. 6/29/22
Was this employee aware of some influx in COVID cases? In this exact restaurant? At that exact time?
Seems mighty presumptuous if you ask me. Nobody did however. In fact, no one said anything to me after the entire tantrum took place. A manager (Julie) handed me my food in a bag then a tray after I reminded her it was a table service order.
Whoever Fernando is (owner / franchisee if I had to guess) was none the wiser. I overheard him telling the manager "thats gonna be a complaint" as I verified the store number with her. I filed a proper complaint with corporate,. the mobile app team, and with the BBB. I await their resolution, which if we're being honest will most likely be a thinly veiled "apology" followed by a $5 coupon to use at another location on a Happy Meal due to the rising inflation costs in the United States.
TLDR: Ordered Table Service was treated like Rosa Parks by a teenaged POC.

During my trip, I accidentally left my phone at your restaurant. I only realized it after I had already driven all the way to New York. As a foreign visitor unfamiliar with the area, this was extremely stressful — I rely heavily on my phone for navigation, communication, and travel planning.
When I activated Lost Mode on my phone, Roberto S from your team contacted me almost immediately — despite it being well past midnight. I’m not sure whether the restaurant was still open at the time, but Roberto made sure the phone was safely kept and personally returned it to me that same night.
At that point, I didn’t even remember my U.S. phone number, but Roberto still managed to get in touch with me. I was incredibly relieved and grateful. Without that help, I honestly don’t know how I would have continued the rest of my journey.

How can you forget the dang BACON when a customer orders a sandwich called a BACON anything??? I brought the entire order BACK after going home and asked for fresh fries too as the ones we received with our order was now COLD. The "manager?" said ok, threw the 1st Big Mac and cold fries away, and put a new replacement Big Mac in the bag and after verifying there was indeed BACON on it he gave me the bag and home I went again only to find out he DIDN'T GIVE US OUR FRIES!!!! At that point I was aggravated and disgusted. I didn't even eat what I ordered and I was not going to drive back to kiddie kingdom to deal with those fools again. Wouldn't want to interrupt their conversations and text messaging again!
That was again aggravating and sad because it used to be a decent Mc Donald's. The main management seriously needs to re-check exactly who they schedule and make sure they have at least one Adult on staff that's past...
