Culver’s — Restaurant in Woodbury

This restaurant is top notch in friendly staff, cleanliness and expectactions in food. We had a cheeseburger, and kids grilled cheese with applesauce as a side and tried the new pretzel bites with cheese dipping sauce. For dessert, we had a single scoop of vanilla and a double scoop sundae with caramel and a strawberry smoothie. Everything was as expected. Faith took our order and had such a perfect friendly customer facing attitude. She wasn't just taking our order, she remembered to ask if we wanted all the condiments (we didn't) and even paid attention that one child wasn't eating (she ate earlier at home). She smiled through the entire order taking process. Nicholas delivered our food and recited what was on the tray as he delivered it. I also noticed when he delivered food to another family, also dining outside, they asked for the plastic silverware and he apologized and went to get it for them even though I believe that's something is supposed to do. When he returned he asked if he could take our tray and garbage as he noticed we were finished eating. I am blown away. My toddler wanted ice cream, and I told her we would go out for a special girls day- But that’s easier said than done when you have a toddler, and a six month old baby, and two hands!

As others have stated on here, the food was delicious and came out super quickly. But the thing that really blew me away, was the staff. The gentleman who checked me out, was super kind, patient, and inviting. Once we sat down, there was an absolute angel, helps me throughout the entire meal! She brought over napkins, she grabbed high chairs, she helped a toddler get a new spoon… She even noticed that my toddler shoes were on the wrong feet, and helped switch them around, I’ve never seen anything like it! As a former employee of this culvers, it was an honor to work with them. I only worked with them for like half a year maybe not even a year. Josh Malaske was and is a great manager. Same with Pepper Depew. Great people. It’s sad that I had to transfer over to the cottage Grove location for that culvers but that was only for a reason, since I moved there. There were some fun memories from working there in Woodbury. Sure the management is tough and controlling but that’s OK because they are doing their job. As long as your on their good side you have nothing to worry about, they are fun people to be around, but that depends on who you are around with that counts.
