HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! (There should be a no star option because Woodbury Hobby Lobby does not deserve even one star from me.) I don’t even know why I try with this store. My first experience was horrible in 2020. I left there saying I’d never go back. But because I realise we all have our bad days I gave it a go again a few months later. Huge huge mistake!! I received even worse customer service than I did the previous. The employees are so rude, unwilling to help and would rather gossip about inappropriate things and talk about each other. SUPER unprofessional!! I think the worst was when the girl didn’t even greet me at the register and then when I said hello she completely ignored me. She wouldn't even bag my purchase. I asked her for a bag and she rolled her eyes like it was a huge inconvenience for her. I bought an expensive plush Santa Claus, which wasn’t very hard to be bagged and most definitely should be. As I was leaving I said goodbye to her and again no response. This was right after a girl just before that sent me all over the store looking for some thing I asked about. Then when I asked her again (because it wasn’t there), she pointed me in another direction. I was literally walking around aimlessly and all she kept doing was pointing me here and there in all different directions. I guess it was too much to expect her to walk with me, or to know the correct answer before just randomly points me around. The whole experience made me feel like I was a huge bother to everyone. I asked to talk to a manager and waited over 20 minutes and after speaking with him I felt no different. The impression I got was that he really could of cared less. So about a year after that, I went again with my daughter and again rude staff unwilling to help and most of them standing around doing nothing but looking at their phones. I guess I’m this huge inconvenience to all of you because I’m a customer and I’m asking for help but your phone is more important and gossiping with other employees is all in your job description. I left again saying, and this time I’m so serious, I WILL NEVER GO TO THE WOODBURY LOCATION EVER AGAIN! I will drive a half an hour (instead of 5 minutes) to a different location, completely out of my way and in a snowstorm if I have to, before I ever go back to this location again! I work for 3M, and the Woodbury location has definitely been brought up a time or two. Most of us have all had awful experiences there. I really hope that somebody who cares reads this review. With business right now especially is crucial, and without it stores don’t survive! It’s really sad that owners don’t see what really goes on in their stores. I think about everyone else who would like to write the Woodbury location a bad review, for instance multiple people I work with, but they don’t want to waste their time with it. I don’t either, but I think about all my siblings and most of my relatives that have their own businesses and I think how sad it would be if their employees drove customers away because of things like this. Mind you, only the employees who were WHITE were telling my friend and giving her unnecessary comments on saying how they think her buying specific items seemed out of her budget range. My friend has enough money to buy whatever she wanted. The cashier was being rude saying how certain items weren’t 50% off and my friend was completely aware of that. She stated that unnecessary adding “It’s because people of color always think everything is 50% off” then since my friend was buying a bunch of stuff that weren’t fitting on the counter, she proceeded to add onto her cart and was discriminated by the cashier saying that she was going over 100 dollars and she doesn’t think she’ll have sufficient funds and then saying she can’t put things into her cart because people of color tend to run off with the items. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR AND NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED. A whole staff meeting needs to occur with all the employees of this location and corrected. Read moreI was so excited to work with this specific person in the frame department. I went at about 1:50p thinking it would be past the lunch hour. Unfortunately, she was at lunch so I waited for her. Finally at 2:35p I got to meet her. I told her a have a large tapestry that needed to be framed. She immediately said she couldn’t do it because it was too large. She proceeded with the amount of time it would take her to frame it and how the store have cut her hours along with the multiple projects she has going on…but she said I could take it to a different place to look at and see what they can do. If they could not then I could bring it back in the next few weeks and she can reassess??? So, could she do it or not? I’m confused but truly disappointed. They should state what size they can frame something. I looked at the order sheet and looks like it’s something hobby lobby can but specifically for this person…she said she couldn’t. Btw the frame size I was looking at was 48x34. From the order form it is a size they can accommodate....
