Usually an overall good place until tonight when I recognized somebody who I thought was a friend of mine so I walk up and say the name of the friend whom I thought it was and realized I had got the wrong person who looked similar (hair color, height). I go to the next aisle a little bit embarrassed I had misunderstood that I did not know this young lady. About 30 seconds later a woman who appeared to be her mom walks to my aisle and stares at me for 10 seconds waiting for me to notice, when the person I’m with says my name and I look over. The first thing she says is “Do we have a problem here?” Me being confused I said “I’m sorry I thought your daughter was a good friend of mine she looks similar to my friend” as this lady bashes out on us calling us rude and disrespectful but never stating a reason why, which I assume she didn’t like us bothering her. At the end she says “If that’s how you treat people I sure wouldn’t want to be your friend”. I felt disrespected for trying to be friendly and saying hi as I thought I knew this girl which I didn’t. When the mom is turned around her daughter clearly mouthes out to us “I’m sorry” as if she knew her mom was overreacting. I usually love this friendly environment it’s always been a place where people are kind but the woman’s attitude towards me tonight has changed my views on this location and I don’t know if I feel welcome anymore here because of the disrespect that has been shown to me tonight. I stayed in that aisle, shocked, for another few minutes at what had happened and left immediately not wanting to be around there. This happened earlier tonight and I still am constantly thinking about it, as I don’t believe I did anything wrong or rude/mean. As of this point I don’t really feel comfortable returning to this location as something else unpleasant...
Read moreI ordered an iPad and Apple Smart Pencil for a Christmas present for my daughter. Looked at many sites to finally find it on Target.com at a Target store 25 miles from my house. I used my veteran 10% discount and paid for the item. I made a special trip to that Target store to pick it up the next day. At pick up, they hand me the Smart Pencil and tell me the iPad is out of stock. I told them the $99 Smart Pencil is not of any use without the iPad. They said I should have received an email that the iPad was out of stock. I looked in my emails to not find any notification of such. I logged into the Target app and did not see any notifications of it being out of stock. I had to drill down 2 levels to the order ticket to see the out of stock item. Needless to say, I now have a $100 Smart Pencil that I have to return, drove 50 miles roundtrip, wasted a couple hours of my time, used my 10% off coupon and have no iPad for my daughter's Christmas present to show for it. So frustrated with Target right now! If someone pays for an item, especially a big ticket holiday gift item, that is in stock at your store, you are responsible to fulfill it. While supply shortages are our new reality, do set up my expectations and take my money then not follow through and make it my...
Read moreI'm tired of the inconsistencies and lack of communication with Drive-Up pickup. I use it because I have mobility issues. I put in my order today for pickup with no notifications, waited for the order to be shopped and again no notifications, then received the update that my order was ready for drive up. I said that I was "on my way" in the app (again no notifications) and when I arrived at the store I found out all of their drive up spots are closed. There was a sign saying that I would have to go into the store to get my order, which defeats the whole purpose of me ordering as I am struggling to walk. It is fine to close drive up for weather conditions if necessary but when the store will not communicate with shoppers then they are simply wasting my time and I don't appreciate that. Target groceries are mid-tier anyway, especially produce, and If I have to go into a store to get my groceries I am going to go into a store with MUCH better groceries like Cub or Lund's. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location either. Overall I just can't trust my groceries will be available because of lack of communication from the store and. I will be shopping elsewhere...
