An Adventure for Your Tastebuds!** I will admit, my first experience at an Indian restaurant prior to this one was not the best. Typically ketchup is spicy to me and I was served something so spicy that I had to call Hazmat as I was convinced I had been the victim of a uranium leak. Thus when I entered this establishment, I was apprehensive, but my skepticism was unfounded. Stepping into Curry Leaf Cuisine of India is like taking a delightful trip to India without the 14-hour flight, the visa paperwork, or the fear of losing your luggage! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the heavenly aroma of spices that made me question why I had ever considered cooking at home. The butter chicken is so good that it should be illegal. I could practically hear the spices singing, “Let’s get ready to rumble!” And the naan? Fluffier than a cloud on a sunny day! I swear I wanted to wrap myself in it like a cozy blanket. This food made my taste buds dance like a Bollywood cast at a wedding.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention the service. The staff at Curry Leaf are friendlier than a golden retriever at a park. If you can't decide, they will likely recommend something that "tastes like happiness” was made. Spoiler alert: it does, but it also tastes like I need to run 10 miles afterward. The only remotely negative thing I could mention is that the ambiance could use a little more woman's touch. A few potted plants and a decorative throw pillow could really elevate the “I’m in the land of spices” vibe Overall, Curry Leaf Cuisine of India is a must-visit for anyone who loves flavorful food . This place will be the envy of every brunch...
Read moreI recently set out to find a quality Indian restaurant in the Bothell and Mill Creek area and opted to visit Curry and Leaf in Woodinville, despite the slightly greater distance.
My honest assessment of this establishment is overwhelmingly positive.
The restaurant is impeccably maintained, offering excellent service in a tranquil and serene dining environment.
One standout feature is the open kitchen, which not only adds to the ambiance but also piques one's culinary curiosity.
The food at Curry and Leaf is undeniably delicious, and the level of service provided is nothing short of exceptional.
Furthermore, the restaurant's strategic location on the main road makes it easily accessible, and the ample parking space is a practical convenience.
Notably, a sign indicates new management, suggesting a commitment to further improving the establishment.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Curry and Leaf for anyone seeking an exceptional Indian dining experience.
I genuinely hope that they maintain and even enhance their already exemplary level of service."

Read moreI would not recommend Curry Leaf Cuisine if you're seeking authentic Indian food. Unfortunately, the dishes we tried were bland and lacked any flavor. We ordered chai, lemonade (which tasted stale), Gobi Manchurian, peanut masala, paneer butter masala, dal makhni, aloo naan, and onion naan.
The Gobi Manchurian was, by far, the least impressive I've had in the greater Seattle area—it lacked any flavor or texture. The peanut masala was disappointing, with large chopped tomatoes and onion pieces (almost thrice the size of the peanuts) with no chaat masala/any masala, while the dal makhni tasted more like basic kali dal in a thin canned tomato soup. The paneer tikka masala, though buttery, was bland and far from the level of spiciness or flavor you’d expect (despite ordering it 4/6 spicy). It was more akin to a mild, non-spicy version of paneer butter masala, which might appeal to those who prefer a very subtle taste, like my 3-year-old (who enjoyed this with rice).
The naans, though soft and chewy, were drenched in oil.
On a positive note, the service was friendly, albeit slow, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, given the quality of the food, I would recommend trying a different Indian restaurant in the Bothell...
