I will preface by saying I worked at Jersey Mikes as a Sandwich artist and eventually as an Assistant manager.
Who runs this store? Employees seem half asleep or just have no idea what they are doing. They were slicing and sprinkling phone and online orders for almost 10 minutes before they even started sprinkling our 1 giant sub and the best part is that there was nobody else in line.... There were 3 Employees on the line and literally one order from us and it takes them 15 minutes to get us through???? 5 employees in the store when we walked in? Dude, I was about to bust back there and do everything they are trying to do in 2 mins while giving the people in the store my full attention. I almost asked the manager slicing to weigh my sandwich because it also looked like she didn't know how to slice and shes wearing a managers shirt. I asked for two things outside of mikes way on the sub and they were completely missed/ignored in which I had to get up and ask for sides of after I started eating. Is it hard to slice a sandwich and delegate an employee? Rocket science I guess ?
I will most likely be calling the regional to discuss this with them as I'm not sure I've ever had or seen a worse experience ordering a Jersey Mikes Sub from my perspective as a customer and as a previous employee delivering orders.
Not usually one to leave bad reviews but this was just a horrible experience from a place I used to work when I was just craving a sandwich on my birthday. Wont be going back to this location. Sorry for the austerity, just a bit surprised is all.
Cheers...
Read moreWorst sandwiches and customer service we have ever experienced !!!! My wife and I went to the Jersey Mike's sandwich shop in Woodland, Ca on February 13, 2020. We went to get sandwiches for dinner and it was already almost closing time, around 8:40 pm. There were two employees working that night. One appeared to be Hispanic and the other one was Caucasian. When we walked in, we were never greeted by neither employee. After we checked the menu, the Caucasian employee finally asked us what we wanted to order. During the whole process when she was asking what we wanted in the sandwiches, she had a bad attitude toward us with a total dry and long face and treated us like we were there to get the food for free. When the Hispanic employee finished preparing the sandwiches, she was also treating us very unfriendly and didn't even ask if we wanted any condiments in the sandwiches. When we paid, the Caucasian employee never said thank you. When we went home, we discovered the sandwiches did not have mayonnaise, did not have dressing, no mustard and they were missing the bacon and even the ham !!!! Talk about getting ripped off !!!! I will never go back to that sandwich shop again and I strongly DO NOT recommend...
Read moreI feel so sorry for the girls working in this store. One of them is even pregnant. It was so hot in there their air conditioning was down. Wherever there is a heat Source like a grill there should be adequate air conditioning for the employees. Some of these are employees are brand new and I'm guessing maybe because the air hasn't been working for a while and other employees must have quit.. It is against the law not to provide air conditioning in situations like this. I have personally quit a job for the same reason I will be going back into this location within a week or two to see if there are sticks if it is not I will be reporting them it is bad enough these young girls get paid minimum wage I'm sure but not to get them air conditioning is just so cruel especially in August it was cooler outside then it was inside. I suggested they open the door and prop it open so hopefully they could get some hot air out or maybe a little air. I'm hoping the owner fixes this properly for his employees. It was also very uncomfortable as a patron sitting in that heat and I was only in there...
