I can't believe I'm writing a review of McDonald's but here we are... You typically know what to expect when going to a McD's, and it's not gourmet food or service and I don't expect that. I like to have it once every couple of weeks or so because I like some fries and a mcdouble, maybe a 1/4 pounder. This location routinely is terrible. Extremely long waits in the drive-thru (which is all that's open), inaccurate orders, cold/stale food. I only go there because it's convenient, I'm not driving an extra 10min for McD's.
I decided to give it another chance today and used the app to order ahead of time. When I arrived there were a decent amount of cars in the drive-thru so I chose curbside pickup which I'd done in the past and had found to be faster than waiting through their insanely slow drive-thru queue. Fast forward to 15 minutes later, after checking in and parking... no food. I go to their door to try to see what's up, no luck, locked. At this point it's 20 minutes since I checked in, so I had to walk up to the drive-through window, looking like an idiot, to ask them where my food was. They cluelessly looked around and found the bag behind them just sitting there with the big sticker on it for CURBSIDE 3. Keep in mind the curbside pickup parking is directly opposite of the drive-thru window in FULL VIEW. They knew I was there. As you can imagine, the food was cold by then but I wasn't about to wait for another order. Worst McDonald's ever, avoid if you can.
Oh, when I got home I found they had messed up the order too, which was a simple "no onions."
(edit: Less than 24 hours after leaving this review on the McD's website as well, the general manager of the location John Woody reached out to me directly. They mentioned that there's a known issue at this store and they're working to resolve it. I'm leaving my review as-is for now until I see improvements, but I wont' be visiting this location for at least a few months.)
(update over 4 months later: I gave the location one more chance last Friday since I was in the area. There were only 3 cars in front of me, and I used the app to place my order before hand, 2 burgers. It took 20 minutes from giving my code at the speaker to receiving my order. They had one car in front one me pull ahead to their stop sign and wait, they had me wait in car slot 1, and the person behind me go to car slot 2. They are the slowest location I've ever seen for a "fast food" place. Never...

Seriously the worst staff ever! The past 2 visits for us have been horrible and we won't be going here anymore. This is right up the street from my house and I bring my boys on rainy days so they can get some play time in. The time before last we walk in and get our drink, at the drink station there is 2 male employees just standing in the way and can clearly see we are trying get drinks, they took one step to the side and continued their convo all while cursing in front of my 2 and 4 year old. I go to the manager and tell him that his staff is using inappropriate language and all he says is ok. No apology or anything.
This last time, yesterday 6/5. We take the boys there to play around dinner time and I see the same people, the manager I spoke to and the same 2 guys behind the register. We walk up to the counter and no one acknowledged us, the manager was showing his staff something on his phone saying hell no about whatever it was. I'm already over this visit at this point. I finally ask one of the guys if he takes our order and he says no the other one will.... he walks back over and just stands there. Not a hey what can I get you, are y'all ready to order, nothing at all. So I just start talking and he starts putting the order in the register, my husband orders and asks how long it will take for a pie. Just a minute he says. So we order one. I order food for the kids and ask a question and he doesn't answer. And then just shakes his head and says what? Like he was off in another world. We are finally done and take our kids to the play place, my husband goes to ask for his pie about 3 minutes later and the guy says oh no it takes 10 minutes. We placed our order exactly at 7. The manager didn't bring it out until 730.. again no apology. The staff is just incredibly rude, and always act like you are a bother to them. The manager is never any help either. Everyone seems like they are on drugs here, but I guarantee you they are the ones demanding...
Read moreI noticed I got the wrong order when I got home so I went back with my receipt and the wrong order to get the food I ordered. Alex checked to make sure I wasn't lying, threw away the other order and said he will get me what I ordered. I was surprised he didn't say sorry so I nicely told him I didn't notice the mistake until I got home and he said sorry. I had to wait for them to make the drive thru orders first and when he handed me my food. I was expecting to be offered something for the inconvenience but was offered nothing. I asked Alex if he would expect anything if this happened to him especially now because the gas stations are out of gas and he said no. I said really you wouldn't expect anything? This is when another woman employee yelled at me saying I wasn't respecting their time. I asked them if they felt they had respected my time at which she continued to say I wasn't respecting their time and that they were busy. I asked to speak to the owner and was told they didn't have the owners info and that they were trained to treat me the way they treated me. I asked for their names because I could only see Alex's name tag and Alex told her not to give me her name. If they did nothing wrong, why should I not be told her name? I honestly didn't want anything else but the fact they didn't recognize I was inconvenienced and that they said I wasn't respecting their time I decided to write this review. Alex and other woman, I sent feedback to McDonald's and will continue to do so every single day until you are no longer employed. Part of your job is to make food and the other part is to not disrespect customers. Their are many people unemployed that would have respect for customers if they had a job. And one more thing, the woman's mask wasn't even covering her nose and mouth, it was just over her ears and...
