We stopped in for an early dinner after seeing their van/neon sign advertising on the side of the road just after downtown. The outside had a great look/feel to it and it was very chill and cool inside. We were greeted by a very nice waitress who told us that we could have a seat anywhere. It wasn't too busy for an early Saturday evening at dinner so we were able to find a seat without any trouble. Our server came over, greeted us and handed us our menus. At first glance the menu looked small so I assumed there must be a second page - there wasn't. Although there were a few specials for the night there wasn't much of a variety for options. Not finding quite what we were hoping to have for dinner we decided to have a couple of apps to tide us over for awhile. We settled on the bone in buffalo chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. The buffalo sauce had good flavor and the wings were a decent size, but the insides of many of the wings were still frozen/cold. The mozzarella sticks were excellent though and had a good marinara sauce with them. The waitresses were all friendly and provided excellent service to their guests but the food just wasn't that great unfortunately and we were a bit disappointed. Prices also seemed a bit high for the quality of food that we had. Looking at their website after the fact, the menu there is very outdated. We wanted to love it but...

I was just at Rustic River on Thursday September 13, 2018 for a rehursal dinner. When we first walked in we were greeted with smiles and open arms. We were asked for beverages as soon as everyone was seated and comfortable. Which with a big group like ours they did an awesome job remembering what everyone wanted to drink and not to mention they kept up with replenishing our drinks as well. Our first dish we had was salad with a choice of creamy Italian, italian, ranch and blue cheese dressing. I personally tried the creamy italian and I thought it was very good. For the main course we had an option of chicken parm, fish, tortellini, spaghetti, meatballs and sausages and vegetable medley. I didn’t not try all but for what I did try I thought it was very delicious. I had the chicken parm and a meatball and spaghetti. I had brought my daughter with me and the manager was very nice and brought over a little book for her to read and then at the end of the night told us that we could keep it as well which was very thoughtful. Overall everyone there was very nice and polite and i personally thought seeing the manager on the floor and interacting with us and other customers was very nice. Not many places do that. Thank you guys for a wounderful experience there !! I will definitely be a...

We were in Woodstock, NH and looking for some light fare for dinner. Rustic River had an interesting menu so my wife and I decided to try it. After arriving and looking at the menu we realized that the online menu was not updated and both our choices were no longer available. After seeing and talking to a few patrons we decided on the pizza. What a fortunate choice! It was literally the BEST pizza we have had since leaving CT 3 years ago where the pizza is amazing. Crust, sauce, cheese, cooking time, and most importantly, flavor, were all outstanding.Forget Tilton,NH that was voted best pizza in NH last year. We’ve had it, it’s terrible compared to New Have CT pizza which is some of the best in the country. Rustic River comes way close. We’ve tried 6 different places in Keene, where we live close to, and they are all fair to poor. This is just our opinion but if you’re visiting Woodstock don’t pass this place up if your pizza lover...

I live local to the Rustic River Restaurant, been going there on an as-needed basis for about a year! I get cravings for two food items they have which I must have :) from time to time! 1. Their whole belly fried clams w/french fries (oh yes!) 2. Their chocolate mousse pie for desert (yes please!). The fried clams are fresh, tasty and tender and the french fries are good, they're seasoned. The chocolate cake to the mousse pie is always fresh and moist and the mousse rich and thick. I sometimes order these food items as take-outs as you can see in the photos. The restaurant itself is clean, casual and the staff are all smiles and eager to please. The restaurant has a handful of large, flat screen TVs to watch the game. People also bring their children to eat. Everyone has a good time. The owner often chats and laughs with the customers, he makes certain you have everything you want or need so to have a good time.

I had visited once prior back in 2017 for the premiere of the Maura Murray special. I remember the pizza being of the best I had ever had and I had great conversation with the owner. Time goes by fast so 4 years later I finally paid a visit back. My wife and I stopped by yesterday. She ordered a onion and spinach pizza along with an order of mozzarella sticks while I got an onion pizza and also the mozzarella sticks. They were all cooked to perfection, the same quality I remember from 4 years ago. The server was nice and attentive. The kitchen had actually made a mistake on our pizzas and they needed to be remade. Mistakes happen and I totally understand that. They were honest about what happened and they adjusted accordingly. It's shocking to see all the negative reviews of this place, definitely a minority but both times I have visited the food has been perfect and the quality of the staff is top notch.

Stopped here a month ago for lunch on a rainy day. Small place but quickly got seats, crowds started pouring in as we were finishing so we really lucked out. The waitress informed me that the owners ship their ingredients for their pizzas in from Boston directly each week and the quality really reflects that. Coming from people who live near some of the top rated pizza joints in the world we tend to be picky and New Hampshire isn't exactly known for it's quality pizza so this was a great surprise. Some of the other ratings mention some consistency issues but what we experienced was top notch and could probably compete for best in state. I'll be back for more whenever I'm in the area again!
