Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Wooster

I come here roughly once a month with friends from work. This is "their" favorite hang-out spot for a couple of beers and food after a long day at work. Beef-o-Brady's is a large chain restaurant started in Brandon, Florida. It has a large footprint in the Southern United States and is rapidly expanding North and West. While down south, it is as noticeable as McDonald's is up here. However, the fact is that these restaurants are so few up here that they actually pull in the hometown vibe as long as they are properly managed as this one is. This store is actually located in an actual service station from a long bygone era (that's a gas station for you young-in's). The pump area has been converted into a nice outdoor patio, and the garage bays have become the main dining area with a small bar at one end that's able to seat 5 people comfortably. There are a few televisions to entertain you during your meal. It is handicap accessible with inside and outside ramps with railings strong enough to support us older folks who might need it. It is a welcoming atmosphere with good service from my experience. While I usually only come for a beer or two, I do sometimes partake from the menu. In general, I would rate their food as "Good", but not great. It is, for the most part, satisfying, but at a slightly higher cost comparable to most any large chain restaurant these days. Ok. Here we go. I ordered the surf and turf, 6once sirloin and shrimp. The waitress said they were out of sirloin but had ribeyes or New York strip. I said ok I'll take a ribeye with it. Food showed up with no Surf... she just laid it down and walked away. I started cutting and realized where's the shrimp at? Flagged the bartender down, and she told the waitress. She came over and said I just ordered a ribeye but she would get me some shrimp. I argued that the way she implied like the ribeye would just substitute the sirloin. Anyways I started cutting into steak and realized it was a New York strip. I told her, and she went and got the GM who happened to be there. He apologized and said his cooks don't know the difference of a NY strip and ribeye...?? 🤔 if your going to have beef in your name of the restraunt, don't you think the cooks should know the difference??? However, he did not charge me for the food and let me keep the NYS trip and cooked me a ribeye... which was terrible. The strip was actually better. Oh, and the shrimp was 6 baby shrimp, $22 for S&T, your shrimp needs to be bigger. ...

Very good establishment. Stopped here on our way home from an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic. We ordered Buffalo wings and Jamaican Jerk flavor. Both flavors were exceptional. Just the right amount of heat, spice, and flavor. Also, the wings were surprisingly large! The Bleu Cheese and Ranch dressing served with them were both great tasting. Even the celery was fresh, crunchy, and delicious. Discovered that the Monday special was any build your own Angus burger and fries, was just $7.99. Ordered two burgers/fry specials and could not be happier. Burgers were cooked to order, delicious and big! Fries were hot, fresh, and some of the best I've ever had. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. The atmosphere was great, the place was immaculately clean and had a very nice inviting decor. We chose to eat outside on the patio.
