American Flatbread Worcester — Restaurant in Worcester

Yesterday for Father’s Day we went to American flat bread. We had table reservations at 4pm and lane reservations at 5:30. When we first sat for dinner waitress seemed very nice and we started ordering. Half of us arrive early we ordered drinks and they were promptly brought to table. Second half then arrived and ordered 5 more drinks. Only 4 were received. We ordered 7 pizzas and 3 of which were all wrong. We ordered a chicken bbq pizza that came with no chicken, we ordered a another bbq pizza that came out buffalo and then we were flat out missing a pizza. I once again ordered a sprite, and nothing. When we called over waitress for pizza concerns, she said the bbq pizza had chicken under the cheese (it clearly did not) and ordered the rest of the correct pizzas. Once again I ordered a sprite still nothing. At this point we were about 45 minutes in and I still had no drink, pizzas were still wrong and it was mess. Eventually, we got 5/7 correct pizzas and just stopped complaining and after 5 times asking for a sprite I got it. I understand restaurants can be busy but there was more staff standing around then actual customers. I’d also like to add we were still charged for the chicken that NEVER made it to the pizza. After this we were hesitant to go downstairs and bowl but went anyway. Downstairs was COMPLETELY different. Service went from the worst I’ve had in ages to amazing. Waitress staff all the above were MUCH better. I guess overall it’s a gamble which is sad. Downstairs was amazing and upstairs I would NEVER come again. Overall, the experience in the restaurant upstairs was not good by any means but downstairs did slightly...

Let me preface this by saying, I hardly take the time to write reviews unless something totally blows me away. That being said, THIS PLACE IS 10/10! Fun new place for a family, date night or just a fun night out with a group of friends.

I enjoyed how the restaurant is separated based on what kind of experience you want. The upstairs is clean, spacious and more quiet if you just want to hang and eat without bowling. The kids loved looking at the big pizza oven where the food was being made! Downstairs is candlepin bowling with a large bar behind it. You can either order and have the food/drinks brought to your bowling lane or choose to sit at a regular table without bowling.

Servers are friendly and attentive and the food and drinks come out quick! As for food/drink, I would highly recommend the flyin hawaiian and the pepperoni and mushroom pizzas- the pizzas are large, tasty and definitely enough to have extra to bring some home! I am very picky about pizza typically and found the pizzas well cooked, non greasy and quite flavorful. I recommend getting at least 2 different kinds to share if you have more than a couple of people. The Barbara’s ice cream sandwich was also a lot larger than i expected, you could very easily share with another person, which you can’t beat for 8 bucks. I ordered a margarita, opting to choose a different tequila and they were more than happy to do it for me.

Overall, great atmosphere, delicious food and pleasant staff. If you’re debating on going, take this as your sign! You will not be disappointed. I’m happy to have this awesome new addition...

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at American Flatbread in Worcester absolutely deserves one, all thanks to our incredible bartender, Chelsea. From the moment I walked in, she radiated warmth and positivity. She greeted me with a genuine smile, made me feel welcome right away, and set the tone for a great night.

Chelsea has that rare mix of professionalism and personality, she’s attentive without hovering, funny without trying too hard, and completely on top of everything. She anticipated what I needed before I even asked and somehow managed to make every guest around her feel like the most important one in the room.

Her menu recommendations were spot-on (seriously, listen to her when she suggests a flatbread, she knows her stuff!). You can tell she really takes pride in what she does and cares about making each visit special.

Bottom line: if you go to American Flatbread Worcester and you’re lucky enough to have Chelsea as your bartender, you’re guaranteed a five star experience. She’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back, not just for the food, but for the amazing service and energy she brings...
