Anh Thu II — Restaurant in Worcester

I think they're having sanitation issues. Not the best pho broth but I started coming here 2-3 times a week because I live nearby. There used to be a really nice, tall Asian guy working the front who made me feel welcome and want to keep coming back. I think he was replaced because now whenever I go there's a young girl who I don't consider a very good server and it ruins the experience for me. But I kept going anyways because of how close by I live. Until today. I asked for a little extra bean sprout and she charged me almost $20 for my soup instead of the usual $17. Never been smacked with an extra charge for a little extra bean sprout at this place or anywhere else before. Also, it's been 5 hours since I left, and my stomach is still feeling sick. Upon seeing other negative reviews, now I know why. One review claims to have found a roach, another claims to have seen a rat, found a fly, found a hair, etc. There's something wrong with the food to make me feel sick like that. Jack up my bill for a little bit of extra bean sprout (bean sprouts are very cheap) and walk out feeling sick. I used to work in a small Italian kitchen and we considered it a bad practice to charge extra for something so insignificant. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in my life. Where to begin? Right off the bat, they had no one making Banh Mi, which isn't a death sentence, just incredibly unfortunate, as it's my favorite sandwich, and the reason I made the trip.

But they also didn't have diet coke. Whut?

But the kid who was my server, the only server in the restaraunt (I was the only guest, so again, not a huge deal) was handling his phone and eating in between trips to my table. A giant no-no for me.

Additionally, I ordered crispy rolls, he brought me spring rolls in the rice paper, and they tasted horrible. I only ate one of the four.

The pork chop I ordered was flavorful, but it came atop an absolutely massive amount of rice, and a deep fried shrimp patty in rice paper which was also horrible. I ate the pork chop entirely and little else. I'd love to try their Banh Mi, but after this experience, I'm gonna have to pass.

With clearly no other help for this young man to "tip out" (busboys, a bartender, etc.) I had no problem leaving just a two dollar tip. Terrible,...

When the food i end up getting was good “only fried rice “ no meat or nothing else do to not knowing how to order or have the help I ask for, the server only catered to Vietnamese people the proper way, I sit down and no one took my order until I stopped the waiter.when I asked him about the menu being my first time there they didn’t have anything that I want it and I order some stuff that never made it to my table, when I ask him about my order 20 later his answer was” oh no we don’t have it today not until next week maybe” I end up only having rice because I didn’t know what else to order do to the waiter couldn’t help me with the order.
