Eddy’s Pub & Sports Bar — Restaurant in Worcester

June 2 was my second visit to Eddy's and while the atmosphere is fantastic, a significant issue with the service really put a damper on the evening. The ambiance is definitely a highlight – it's a great spot to hang out and enjoy a game. However, the food was just okay. My fiancé and I both had burgers, and while they were edible, they tasted like frozen patties on average buns. I ordered my burger medium, and unfortunately, the bottom bun was soggy with meat juice, and the flavor was pretty "meh" overall. The biggest problem, and the reason for the one-star rating, involved a Keno transaction. My fiancé and I decided to play and handed the bartender a $10 bill along with our Keno picks. Later, when we went to cash in our ticket, the same bartender insisted we owed her $10. We repeatedly explained that we had already given her the $10 when we placed the Keno bet – it was the only $10 bill we had between us. She continued to deny receiving it, leaving us in an awkward and frustrating situation. I had to leave the bar, walk to an ATM to get $20, and then return to pay the $10 again. See a lot of people posting this place since it opened, so figured we would try it. Stopped in for a late lunch, early dinner on Friday. I ordered the chicken parm, which was 'okay', nothing special. The Mrs had the Friday special, fish and chips. The feeling was that the fish was purchased frozen and beaded, nit made in house. One piece was okay, the other very dry. If it was made in house, my apologies, but it wasn't very good. Also had the calamari, which was also 'okay', but a large portion. The fish was inexpensive, yet still overpriced. Came back on 9/20/25. Sat at booth for almost ten minutes and wasn't even acknowledged. Bar was almost full, but not hectic. Bartender grabbed a plate off a table next to us but was zoned out and appeared clueless. Kid at that table was on phone cursing every other word, heavily intoxicated.
