Thai Time — Restaurant in Worcester

UPDATED: While I maintain the food is always good, I have to complain about the service AGAIN. I placed my order on line and it was almost 30 minutes before I received the text stating they received the order. When I got the text, it provided a 60 minute eta. I was fine with that because they have never used the full 60 minutes before. Not today. At 90 minutes I called in for an update as it hadn’t arrived yet. The guy answering the phone had no specifics other than it was busy and he thought it was on the way. A few minutes later it did show up. In a bag that was soaked through for a container that must have been sealed correctly. I got grease all over my hand, my car and the desk where I ate. This is not acceptable. I am a regular customer with an account and everything. I expect better! Dropped from 4 stars to 2. Do better, your customers deserve it! — The food is always spot on. Never had a problem with the quality. Drivers have always been fantastic also. My only complaint is the software they use for deliveries. I chose my proper location and at some point it changed to my old workplace. Luckily the driver thought to call ahead. When placing the order, it skipped over the payment. I got a text message to pay at the store. Well if I wanted to do that, I wouldn’t have ordered it for delivery. The servers working the noon shift today were EXTREMELY rude and XENOPHOBIC to a person picking up my order. My driver, who is hard of hearing and not super fluent in English, was trying to do her best to pronounce my name and the employee proceeded to say: "Oh, you don't speak English? Well, SIT DOWN." I overheard this on the phone and asked them to not be rude and they had the AUDACITY to continue whining and bickering, asking why would she do this job if she couldn't speak English. Still so shocked that a place that serves multicultural cuisine would have such disgusting and prejudiced behavior.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: Sorry, but that is not the case, and even if it were, you can't justify being xenophobic and prejudiced against a person's "impatience." The server needlessly asked the driver about her language capabilities and said VERY CLEARLY that she should not have this job if she couldn't speak English. I recently got takeout and was blown away. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp and chicken was fantastic, blending sweet and savory perfectly. The spring rolls were super crispy and came with a tangy sauce that was just right. We also got peanut sauce to pair which was amazing. The beef pad Thai? Absolutely delicious, with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles in a rich, flavorful sauce.

The portion sizes were more than generous, giving great value for the money. I also ordered a Thai iced tea, and to my surprise, the friendly staff member threw in an extra one for free!
