Entered a large coffee-donut-bagel-muffins order this AM (about $130 worth) for a crew of workers rehabbing a church not far away. When I got to the site, I found that the 6 muffins I ordered and was charged for were not in any of the boxes or bags. I later stopped back, with my receipt and pleasantly informed the mgr that they had forgotten the muffins but I was charged the $13.99 for. She immediately got pretty defensive and maintained that SHE had packed the muffins herself. I respectfully disagreed and said, two of us looked for them in the bags & boxes and they weren't included. She again said 'you got your muffins' so she wasn't going to give an inch so I left.
I subsequently called back to the work site and asked if they happened to see any bag or box with muffins that I may have overlooked, (though that was unlikely as two of us were looking for them when we 1st started working). It was verified that NO muffins were there and no one had eaten any.
I know that people work hard and we all make mistakes and I didn't go in there angry or anything. Can't help but think that a good manager, would toss a bone (or a muffin), to someone who had just dropped $130 there a couple hours earlier and put 6 muffins in a bag and should have said, "here and so sorry for the mistake." Guess good business sense is too much to expect these days. (p.s. and I also tipped the girl when I picked up the order. Hopefully other neighborhood Dunkins are...
Read moreI go here several times a week. I am always polite and friendly and accepting of mistakes with my order. Most of the young ladies working the drive thru window are very nice. I usually spent around $10 to $20 on each visit and always tip the young lady $3 to $5 because I know they work hard and can get very busy. Today, was a totally different story. There was some confusion with my order over the speaker which was no big deal. When I went to the window and paid, it was a very petite black young lady. Not to be confused with the other black young lady who is very nice. She seemed very agitated and just handed me my bag and a drink and said with an attitude "The straw is in bag", then turned away. I looked inside and was missing items I paid for. I nicely asked "excuse me, I also had 2 Boston Cremes." She just glared at me without saying a word and got the donuts, then handed them to me with a glare of pure hatred. Not a word. A normal person would say something like "I'm sorry, here you go, have a nice day." You aren't doing me any favors, I paid for it. So I told her "you are terrible." Her response was "I know." So I told her "then you should quit." This young lady should never be involved in any customer service. She is a miserable, ignorant, hateful person. Please advise when she is terminated so that I can return to this location and continue to tip the other nice young ladies...
Read moreI had formally given a rave review, but with the service today & past couple of times, I'm not so sure anymore. I stopped in for a large ice coffee easy ice (pistachio, my newest favorite!) The girl brought me a medium. I then asked if she could replace it with a large, I wasn't mean or rude, I was just wanting what I ordered. What a mean trick she then pulled on me! She brings back the coffee in a large cup jam PACKED with ice, so I'm sure she just poured the medium that she orginally gave me in a large cup. There was so much ice, she probably had to pour some out to fit it in the large cup! This really brings down my estimation of their service, which seems to have gone down hill lately. I should have asked for the manager then & there, but was in a hurry. This was my former review, I'll try them a few more times & hope the quality of service goes back up: Love the coffee & the service here. The newest flavor is butter pecan, and it is so good that I may have to need one every day! Also, they give you a punch card & after purchasing 9 large coffee's you get one free! ...
