The WORST fast food experience I have ever had in my 29yrs old life. Upon ordering the food was DISGUSTING! The chicken was discolored. Meaning the same piece of chicken was half white and the other side greasy dark brown. As in you can tell either it was under the warmer too long or just plain rewarmed. After noticing this when returning back to work (I work on 95th Western Ave) & realizing not just the chicken looking funny, but also a white string which looked like a hair attached to one of the pieces. After all of the issues I lost my appetite and decided to return for a refund. Due to my kindness of ordering everyone else's food at work with mine Emily at Popeyes stated she couldn't refund just my order. She would have to return the $50+ that was spent then RECharge me. I didn't have enough funds to be recharged & I'm sure the food is trash because that's also the attitude of the workers. Not that it's surprising because that's usually the type of service you received on the suppressed south side of Chicago (Not ALL places, but unfortunately most). After basically being denied a refund due to the circumstances my ONLY other option was replacing the order with another. Of course I didn't want to loose out on my money so I agreed to replace the order. I pulled to the side for it to be made. After waiting 7min and receiving my order. Of course back to disappointment. The food was barely warm (I guess I should be grateful it was still warm) however still looked remade or as if it was sitting a while. I tried to even eat one and still it was half soft half hard. None the less I still lost out of money because I had to eat around the good parts and throw away the other half that was hard and discolored. I debated whether to go back but I didn't want to deal with the terrible service they provide with the hostility and dirty looks they put upon the customer so THEY feel guilty for THIER mistakes as workers AND human beings, because let's be honest if it was them or their family members I'm sure they wouldn't gotten greeted with a smile and FRESH food. Read more1st this place has issues with sticking to their own recipes. One day the chicken is good and flavored well, the next visit it's hardly seasoned at all, close to tasteless. 2nd. It has become almost impossible to get what you order. On one occasion I ordered a white 8pcs meal and received dark meat (checked it by hand in the lobby) . Returned to the counter and the the Indian looking guy took it back and dumped it right back in with the other chicken and remade my order incorrectly again (I was watching him put dark meat in the box). As he approached I told him "nope, try again, I saw you put thighs in the box" and I pulled one out to show him. Issue 3. He again dumped it back in with the rest after I touched it by hand to show him. This is a common issue and is why I don't use the drive thru at this location. Every time I use the drive through I'm given the wrong order and if I don't sit right there and check it I have to come all the way back each time without fail. This is 100% of the visits I make there and seems to be intentionally done when they're low on white meat chicken which makes no sense because they just lose money when I return and they now would have to dispose of the chicken that I returned, but as previously stated they don't do this but instead put it right back in with the rest even though I've left with the order. Read moreThis location on 95th street, Evergreen Park, IL needs new management ASAP. I came to the drive thru at 6:30 I placed an order for for 3 chicken sandwich meals and 3 drinks. When I got to the window the young lady gave me my 3 drinks and tells me to pull forward. I pulled forward waited 10 min for someone to bring me my food. I had to call the restaurant to inquire about my meals the manager said she was going to take care of it. I watched the manager come from a back office and talk to the young ladies who were working. Shortly after that someone brought food out to my car but it was not at all what I ordered. I called back twice no one answered the phone. I now get out of my car where another lady was also standing outside because she received the wrong order all this is going on then the GM and manager walks out of the restaurant and stand in the parking lot talking and laughing then drive thru line is down 95th street 2 other people also had incorrect orders. I said to the GM and Manager are you all going to help these ladies out. The GM said they have enough people working we already clocked out.WOW!!
