Tamales y Tacos Mi Chula — Restaurant in Worth Township

I had my fingers and toes crossed for a good Mexican spot in my neighborhood and got thoroughly disappointed and ill. Had the taquitos, several different tamales to try, and beans and rice on the side. The tamales tasted okay but were a bit dry. The taquitos tasted good but there was a weird aftertaste. That familiar taste of a greasy spoon that had been frying their fries in the same old dirty oil for months. After the first taquitos I got really nauseated and stopped eating immediately. I was like, this feels familiar. Oh, I know. Hello old friend food poisoning...this restaurant just opened so how are you not following strict sanitary guidelines to stay open. I know why. No one cares anymore, that's why these subpar restaurants stay open. Chicago has a new scene. Its called the Russian Roulette Food Posioning scene and all are invited...6 food poisonings this year so far from restaurants that are highly rated. Can't trust the reviews anymore.

The oil you fried them in was not clean and might have been old oil. Unless your tequitos were frozen, expired, and kept in an unclean space. Tamales y tacos mi Chula where do I even begin.This place has one of the best costumer services I’ve really ever had .These young girls working here know exactly what to do if a problem comes up to satisfy us as consumers.I will say though the food takes longer to come out I will completely take it .I say this because this place isn’t like Olive Garden or the Cheesecake Factory that use processed food.This place taste so fresh anytime and everytime I come and the home made drinks taste so refreshing and delicious .The flavors are just jumping on my tongue even thinking about it its delicious and flavorful.I would recommend anything steak or any of the tamales I’ve tried every except the Fresa and I have no complaints their delicious.I’ve gotten 40 steak tacos for me and my family’s birthday party and no complaints what so ever , we were so obsessed that we ordered take out that whole week and no It didn’t hurt our stomach or give us food poisoning but the opposite and made our tummy’s jump in excitement.But overall my gist of writing this review is to recommend and support this small family owned business and to just congratulate the best Mexican restaurant...
