This was our 7th trip to the LB&WF and I’m sad to say this will be our last. For us it’s always been a destination event where our family comes from all over the state to enjoy. We always get the VIP pass and enjoy an hour of light crowds and taking our time with the vendors. This year it was split into 2 sessions to help with the crowds and no early entry for VIPs. The biggest disappointment was the “VIP experience” the experience was a “buffet” of cold, overcooked sliders, green beans and pudding. The VIP price was not worth the extra money. Not letting a VIP pass get in an hour early is a big mistake . The space is nice, but it’s too small for the amount of people and detracts from the experience. Seems its now become a money grab, the quality and experience of the past is gone. We might be back if things change. They carry some every day craft brews plus a lot of good canned local stuff and top it off with some top rated beers from all around. The outdoor space is epic with generous room.
