Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Wylie

I had my mother go through the drive-thru when I was feeling unwell. She ordered, for me, a smoked turkey avocado sandwich, and I did not want lettuce, tomato, or onion. When she placed the order, the person taking the order laughed, and said "so you ONLY want turkey, avocado, and mayo?? HAHA!" And ended up LEAVING onions ON my sandwich, causing me to gag.

This isn't the first time the employees of this establishment have poked fun at my orders. My husband orders a specialty sandwich for me, with turkey, cheese, black olives, mustard and pickle, and they cannot wrap their heads around the fact I ONLY want turkey, and not the 'original,' which has other meats I don't care for. Why be so disrespectful to what a customer orders, if you LITERALLY have the ABILITY to make it?? Is it REALLY that HARD? I waited tables for 6 years, and had LOTS of customer modifications that I was obliged to place in and specify with the expo line exactly how a meal should be made and presented. So I KNOW this industry. These people are being LAZY, and CLEARLY need further training if they truly...

The hours of operation on the door showed through this location is open until 9:30 pm... We just attempted to enter this location at 5:30pm and both doors were locked. A customer inside was kind enough to open the doors and let us in. We waited for an employee to take our order and when the Mgr came up front, he VERY RUDELY asked us, "How Did you get in here?" (He acted as if we had just broken in) He then said, "You have to leave, the dining area is closed! If you want to order, go through drive thru!" He was so incredibly rude that the customer who opened the door for us started apologizing to us and the Mgr. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. We stopped for lunch today. We weren’t super impressed when leaving. Ordering was really awkward. It felt like the employee didn’t know the menu themselves so when we asked questions it just kind of got laughed off. I order broccoli and cheese soup for myself. On the menu board it says that it includes breadsticks or crackers and I specified breadsticks when ordering. When they delivered the soup I asked about the breadstick because they weren’t there and the employee said they didn’t know. 20 minutes later, I just ate the soup and moved along when the employee came back and asked if I still wanted the breadsticks. I just told them no because there was no point now in worrying about it after the soup was gone. Food that I did receive was just okay. Service is definitely...
