Edit: I've been back after some research, and this time the server was a lot more knowledgeable, and offered to remove the dairy products from the burger. Still, I was told the bun is not vegan as it has gluten in it? Anyway, at least Carl's Jr. website was there for the rescue to clear up the confusion.
Original review: I received an ad in the mail stating Carl's Jr had a plant based burger. I was amped as I always try to find new places to eat at with my restrictive diet. Today I went to the restaurant, and wanted to order the plant based burger. If I hadn't caught it, they would've made me one with actual cheese on it! At this point I lost my trust in the knowledge of the server, so I asked specifically if any other components had animal products in them, because most breads/buns have added milk, some eggs, etc. The server did not know the ingredients to the bun, and couldn't confidently tell me if the plant based burger had animal products in it or not. Read moreHad to change to one star. I am not sure if they are under new management but lately the food is not the same. I order an angus famous and it came drenched in oil. The wrap was completely soaked and the bun was soggy. The time before this my drive thru order was made completely wrong. Had to call 6 times before I got an answer. When they did answer the man hurried me off the phone without hearing me completely out. After days of attempting to have the issue corrected, I went in, again, and finally spoke to the manager. She did not believe me asking to check my call log. She tried to correct me in how I need to make a complaint instead of correcting her crew. Carl’s JR needs to do some research on how this crew operates its store and how they treat their paying customers!

The gentleman at the drive through window was NOT! friendly, he appeared stoned and during the money transfer I wasn't returned $8 in change! I'm not a fan of math and even I caught the mistake. When I brought it up I asked if it was a computer error? I smiled and laughed. He then asked for the receipt back and shut the window (no apology or Just a second please) 2 minutes later he reappeared handed me the $8 shut the window and walked away.
