I would've given this place at least 4 stars...had it not been for the actual food being delicious... (when we finally got service) ...overall, 3 stars seems adequate & appropriate. I took my son and daughter there for what I hoped would be a quick lunch on our way out of town. It was hot, we spent the last 4 hours in the sun watching football and we just wanted a bite to eat before hitting the road. The drive thru was ridiculously long. I needed to use the restroom but I wanted to order my food first to cut into the waiting around period. There were at least 3 people who were hanging around the counter, avoiding eye contact, keeping their hands busy and ignoring our existence. Knowing it was busy in the drive thru, I was giving grace. We waited patiently... Before I couldn't wait any longer, I decided to use the restroom and told my daughter what to order. As I returned my daughter said, no one had still asked her if she had been helped or could be helped.... Because my son really wanted chicken strips after a double header, he was exhausted, left waiting in the car...we decided to wait again until finally.... A young lady came and took our order. I was nervous at first. She seemed like she had been running around all day and was over managing the front (what looked like, by herself) which clearly no one else wanted to do.... And the task of filling up blizzards and shake orders. Nonetheless, she was polite and knew the menu/deals. She was very helpful. She even flipped the blizzard which my daughter thought was so cool because not everyone does it. We had 3 boxes and 3 drinks...which someone else stacked up & passed it off to us. I wish we were offered a bag or drink caddy to carryout all the food and drinks because there were only two of us and it was very awkward and difficult to carryout. At that point we were tired of waiting around and wanted to hit the road. The chicken strips.... Pretty much is what saved the review. It was nicely sized, hot and delicious. The toast was buttered too. If only the customer service could match... This place would be...
Read moreDairy Queen ia a good old standby in a world of compitation in the fast food arena. This place is clean and bright with plenty of seating. I found the staff young helpful and plentiful. In my book this is still my go to place for ice cream treats. I have been hooked on blizzards for many years. This DairyQueen has a fast moving line and 2 different numbering systems. One set for items off the grill and a different set for frozen treats. After ordering sit down and the staff will bring your order to you. I appreciate not having to stand around and wait for my order rrather can sit in comfort while waiting for my food and treats. For me, I believe DQ does there frozen magic very well. The grill order is tasty but is not the emphasis I have had better grilled fare at fast food establishment that are known more for their grill. All said was a...
Read moreEvery time we come here the wait time is outrageous, minimum 20 minutes in the drive thru. Tonight was over 30 minutes and my order was wrong for the 2nd time in a row so I finally had to write a review. There’s usually several staff standing around talking when we get to the window. We ALWAYS have to repeat ourselves at the speaker, usually correcting the order in the process and our orders(we only order blizzards so very simple orders) are still wrong more than they’re right. Tonight they added in a random flavor to my blizzard, last time they completely left one out. Although the wait times are extremely long, the staff doesn’t seem to be in a rush in the slightest and our orders are frequently wrong, the staff has always been friendly and the ice cream is always great so we keep...
