Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Yakima

Such an absolute disappointment.... It was my son's 12th birthday, so a friend recommended go there for a free Bday donut! There was a young, tall kid working who was absolutely despicable and SHOULD NOT BE WORKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! He told my son & his grandma "he has to get the app" and of course my kid's phone was dead. So they leave, went home to charge his phone and returned a couple hours later having added the app, plus created an account. So same kid when my 12 year old son & his Grandma returned. They walk-in and his Grandma says "he put the app on his phone, does he get a free donut?" The kid stood there mute and dumbfounded, said not 1 word, so she mentioned that on the door it says he does. So in a snooty voice he replied "you get 3!" So he boxed them up and asked, again in a rude tone, anything else? And they said yes, purchasing a donut for his Grandma too. "ANYTHING ELSE?!", he said 1 more time. Maybe do some house cleaning or offer customer service training, because they did not deserve that! It's a kid and his Grandma, so of all...

Online order experience: The site had pumpkin doughnuts available and let me order them when the store doesn't sell them anymore, which was disappointing enough. The cider lovers box was lack luster in appearance and contained NO brown sugar kreme filled doughnuts as advertised. It was a complete split down the middle of the box of original cider and old fashioned cider; nothing else. In the custom dozen I ordered there was a strawberry sprinkle missing, a chocolate sprinkle in its place, and the pumpkins I was called and asked to replace with something else (I chose raspberry glazed) I got 1 raspberry glaze, 1 maple bar, 1 chocolate raspberry, and 1 lemon.

I don't think I'll be ordering from this store anytime soon. The doughnuts don't even taste that good. For the amount I paid I expected a lot more and got disappointment. Next time I'll walk into Safeway or somewhere and hand pick exactly what I want.

As for the staff, the communication was prompt but obviously not enough considering...

This Krispy Kreme needs help. The donuts were completely ununiformed. The same flavored ones were all different sizes, icing was terribly sloppy. They looked like a child made them. The M&M filled one's looked the worse. Some were the size of tennis balls, some twice the size. The icing looked like it was microwaved for too long and was runny and sloppy. We stopped at the Issaquah Krispy Kreme location just 4 days before this and had the same M&M ones and they all looked professional. The garbage can outside was overflowing and the lid was coming off because of it. I also ordered an iced coffee that came luke warm and so bitter and old tasting. The only reason why it got a second star instead of one is because the womens restroom was clean. The gentleman working was pretty awkward and despite me trying to be funny and outgoing with him he just was a brick wall. Not worth...
