I have been a long time customer of the Papa Murphy's franchise's and have used the Yelm store for several years. I had a particularly upsetting thing happen on my visit the last week of January 2019. I get several emails weekly and use them when I can. This week I placed my order online which has become my routine. The coupon I was using offered a 40% discount on orders over $20. After sending my order in I discovered that I had not received the full discount. At the store the Manager, a very helpful young woman finally figured out what had happened with my order. It seems that all coupons go through the Corporate website, and did not include "TV and Radio specials". Since the website made no reference of any special pricing there was no way for me to know any of the above. The Manager tried to help, but was not given the authority to help deal with an unhappy customer. She did take my info and said the Franchise owner, Donnie, would call me the next day. Two days later Donnie did call and leave a voicemail. I would describe the voicemail as extremely condescending and was very matter of fact and kept reiterating that it was my problem, and was not going to offer any help at all. This was at best, a bait and switch form of marketing. This last purchase has left a very bad pizza taste in my mouth, and I will find somewhere more honest to trade with. Please think twice about this Pappa Murphy's, and if you decide to be a customer watch your...
Read moreI would have given this place 5 stars however there are 2 issues that I have had.
The first issue I had is their reward system that rewards people who spend a lot more than we do so the rewards system is useless to us. Not to mention we only have Pizza 1 or 2 times a month so it's really not worth it. Granted it's a corporate thing but making it right on the local end by trying to see what the owners can do would be nice.
The last issue is the errors that have been made on our Pizzas. We have gotten the wrong size, or too much sauce. We don't bother coming back because it's a...
Read moreI ordered a family chicken, artichoke and bacon on the phone. I was not asked which crust I wanted it on by the person answering the phone and my husband picked it up not realizing it was the thin crust. As usual the crust was paper thin and dried out in the oven as I used the directions on the paper enclosed. Basically lousy. I was serving a guest who loves Papa Murphy as do I. This was a disaster. PLEASE make sure your people ASK the type of crust we are ordering. I'm 77 and don't always remember that you introduced the thin crust and automatically use it unless...
