Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

I am absolutely appalled by the horrid service i experienced today! My daughter and i went to lunch today around 12:10 PM and were seated in a two seater booth near the to go order section with a clear view of the restrooms and kitchen door. After some time, our server (young adult male) made it to our table to greet us and by this time, we were ready to order. We ordered chips and salsa and veggie fajitas. My fajitas were sans avocado and i told the server twice that i was allergic to avocado and to please make sure mine did not come with avocado. My daughter ordered hers as is. The food runner (bald man) came from the kitchen and plopped down our drinks (coke and water) and the chips. It was such a harsh drop that the water splashed all over the table, and onto the chips. The straws in the wrappers were soaking wet. He rushed back into the kitchen. The location was not busy, by the way. Most of the seats surrounding us were empty. When the food runner came back with our food he brought two fajita plates with avocado. (Both plates were missing the lime cream sauce which was strange). As the server went to set them down i told him that mine shouldn’t have avocado since i ordered it without since I’m allergic. The food runner then rolled his eyes and quickly turned away from me with my plate. He went through the kitchen door and within seconds he came right back out with the fajitas with no avocado. I knew there was absolutely no way they made new fajitas in less than one minute…so i said “you didn’t just scrape off that avocado right? Because I’m allergic.” He then sighed heavily and said “fine, it’ll take 10 minutes” then he stomped back to the kitchen and slammed the door against the wall. My daughter and i along with other customers jumped at this forceful slam. My daughter and i felt increasingly uncomfortable and worried what he’d do to my food or how else he’d treat us. We left the restaurant very concerned. This man is unhinged. Rolling his eyes, sighing, slamming doors all because the incompetence of the server? Additionally, on my daughters plate- they added guacamole as an up-charge. We never asked for guacamole. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant and surely wouldn’t want to give it even 1...

Stay away from this store! I used to work in the area and ate here a lot, lately it's my second time in a few months, last night ended any chance of me going here ever again, food was marginal and the tortilla chips were soaked and visibly covered in grease but the problem this night was service and the total lack of care from the manager. First issue was our server forgot to send our order to the kitchen for 45 minutes and then the manager didn't even care or offer a resolve and when our server asked him to at least discount our meal he didn't. Then the server totally butchered our bill overcharging us by 30+ dollars and now offered us 20.00 in gift cards since the manager wouldn't discount the bill , the cards didn't work and after claiming she straightened out or bill and applied the gift cards we still payed more than our bill should have been before discount or gift cards were applied, long story short after being there almost 3 hours now we just left a small tip and got out of there and finally got a thanks for being patient from the so called manager as we walked past him. Corporate will also be hearing from us about the lack of caring for customers needs from this manager. I wish I got names of these employees but I'm sure the receipt will give them an idea of who wasn't running the store that night . Sorry...

They were a bit busy when I was there, so service was kind of slow, as well as it got a little sloppy for us when the guy that delivered the food to the table set the tray down, and it fell on the floor, getting soup all over the floor, and even on my jacket. It wasn't dry clean, and I needed to wash it anyway, so I did the next day.

It took a while to get the replacement appetizers for myself and one roommate, which was fairly quickly followed by our entrees.

I think things were a little bit cooler than I would have preferred that night, but everything tasted fine.

Other than those few things, everything was okay.

It was actually the first time I had been to this location, which we went to because as a time we left there was no waiting to get a table, but there was a bit of a wait by the time we got there. At least it wasn't as bad as some of the other locations, from when I saw online.

My chicken crispers actually came out a little on the crisp side rather than kind of almost soggy as they are much of the time at another location or two that I've been to, so I did like that.

We may be back another time, especially if one of the locations has a 90 to 120 plus...
