Long John Silver's | KFC — Restaurant in York

We don't get to Long John Silvers in York very often. We decided that we were hungry for it. We stopped to get carried out and ordered quite a sizeable order. It was like $28. We got to the window the employee was very, very nice and I am sure it was just a mistake but someone didn't do their job. I don't think it was the employee at the window. She was very nice and appeared to know what she was doing.. We got home to eat our meal, and we had ordered an 8 piece chicken fish combo French fries and coleslaw. Plus, extra hush puppies. When we got into our meal, we found out that all we had was half an order of French fries, the colslaw, and the hush puppies. There was no fish or chicken. We tried to call Their phone number for hours and hours, but it just rang busy, almost like the phone was off the book. I am hoping that they will make the right mistake because I wasn't able to contact them on it. I don't get to York a lot, so I hope the next time I go and take my receipt that they will honor it.

I need to update this review. My daughter went back to get her missing food, and it was disastrous. These people were extremely rude. They made her out to be a liar. She even showed her receipt and a screenshot of the 18 times she called to tell them about the mistake. She told them the phone just rang busy constantly so the phone must not have been working. She said my phone is always working. First time being called a liar. They just starred at her and didn't say anything. She repeated that I did not get my food. She said, "What didn't you get?" She said i didn't get any of the fish or chicken, and the girl said NONE???? Second time being treated like a liar. My daughter said none of it. She said well what do you want me to do?" My daughter said I want the fish and chicken, and you can throw in the hush puppies for my trouble and having to run 12 miles back here to get it. She didn't say anything, just closed the window and walked away. She came back with a bag and pushed it back out the window at my daughter. We went out of the parking lot, went to another store and then got in the bag to pull out a piece of chicken only to find they only gave us 5 pieces of chicken and 2 fish and NO HUSH PUPPIES. So she went back and told them and they now called her a liar. The girl said there were 8 pieces there, and my daughter was furious. The third time being called a liar. They gave my daughter another piece of chicken very rudely, and we left.

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN. THIS PLACE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK AND I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE TO FIND ANOTHER...

My husband and I went this store to eat lunch. Then we had a coupon saying that mix and match ANY FISH OR CHICKEN For $14.99. So my husband went to the cashier and WAS TURN DOWN ON BUYING THIS BECAUSE HE HAD ASKED FOR THE COD For the FISH AS THE COUPON said ANY FISH OR CHICKEN. We were going to split this half chicken and cod fish. Which the last time we went here this was was NOT A PROBLEM. So they lost this order because they said it said fish NOT COD. Well SORRY TO SAY COD IS FISH. I also went to the cashier and was told the same thing. So we live in South Hanover so this is a trip for us and we went there wanting to take some home like we do most of the time. Because we don't have one were we live. We Will NOT BE GOING BACK TO this store NOW. The coupon did Not say that the Cod was NOT PART OF THIS DEAL WELL ANY SHOULD BE ANY FISH OR CHICKEN. They have LOST US A CUSTOMER NOW NOT VERY NICE TO TURN YOUR CUSTOMER AWAY. THEY LOST THIS SALE OF $14.99 PLUS WE WILL NOT GO BACK NOW. THE CUSTOMER IS SUPPOSED TO BE SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. Chicken, fries hush-puppies, all are off the scale great! I wish this stuff could be made at home. Today I'll be near a LJS, and I'll likely wait an hour (until 10:30am open time) just to load up on their chicken and puppies, it's that good! Sadly my closest LJS is 45minutes away, so not convenient at all and still well worth the trip to me. I had a local LJS that closed down decades ago, and I'll forever miss it. It's only 8:30am now, and I'm itching to get their chicken!!! It's really that good to me. And I'm a male whos 5'10" 145lbs at 47years old, I'm not fat or a pig that just loves to eat!! But their fried chicken, shrimp, fries, puppies are all so awesome for real! I don't like fish, but I hear that theirs is pretty dang good 🤷‍♂️. You'll have to try the fish on your own because I really neve have. But if you like chicken and shrimp, this food is amazingly way above any other fast food out there today 💯!
