got the breakfast burrito and it’s top notch. So I went back…I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and asked for no sauce. TWICE. Waited 20 mins (not a problem since it’s real food) and bought it all the way home only for there to be - you guessed it - sauce. I had to go all the way back to have it remade because no matter how many times you call the business number, no one answers. She remade it and I bought it home again only to find this time the scrambled eggs were under done. Likely she was rushing to remake it. All of this is forgivable. People are human, mistakes happen. I went back in today to get my trusty burrito. I asked for NO SAUCE. I’m sure you see where I’m going with this by now. This time, before I left I asked “no sauce, right”? She goes yes no chipotle sauce but there is garlic aioli. GARLIC AIOLI SAUCE? Ma’am. She offers to remake it. Sure. But then she discovers they are out of tortilla wraps. The worst part? I’ve been waiting 25 mins at this...

Been here several times now and there’s a reason I keep coming back. The owners are very courteous and kind, the food is fantastic and the coffee is my personal favorite in York city. One of the owners enjoys interesting flavor notes in coffee, which shows in their espresso, pour over and nitro cold brew. He favors the lighter roast profiles, but if you go with an espresso-based drink, the fruit-forward notes are muted enough for folks who may not be looking for that. As for the food, I’ve yet to have something that wasn’t amazing. The breakfast burrito in particular has wonderful flavor and is quite filling. There are also some great Thai options and burgers. For the atmosphere, there is plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor) and the large windows giver plenty of natural light. To be honest, I would not have had a coffee shop/Thai/American bistro on my radar, but I’m glad I found them!...

We got a cappuccino and a Thai tea for drinks and they both were delicious! The fries, chipotle chicken sandwich, and chicken salad sandwich were all amazing as well. The chicken breast was extremely juicy. The vibe in the cafe was very relaxed and cozy. The staff was hustling quickly during a very busy surge of guests. From what it looked like, there were only 3 employees working. Due to the busyness, we had to wait a little longer than desired for our food, but it was to no fault of the employees as you could tell they were trying their hardest to get the food and drinks made as quickly as possible.
