Chinatown Express — Restaurant in York

we are about to order right now from Chinatown if they answer the phone. its 2:59pm the phone has rang 11 times so far and counting...... busy place just answered and was placed on hold. answered at 3pm. had to repeat the address several times.... ordered the cheese wontons, a large beef lo mane, large pork fried rice, and large gen tos chicken. 31.22 spoke to juan who answered the phone. was told it would be about 45 mins to 1 hour for delivery. I am located on penn st so we will see how long it takes. be back with update on food quality and suc. due to the call and the constant repeat, the answer and direct to hold.. I give 2 stars, gave two because yes im sure they do get busy... but there is no need to be rude when you answer the phone, or to put on hold b4 you get a okay to do so. Ok so the food cake 1 hour after ordering, not a surprise because I was told that on the phone, it was hot and to the eye, appeared to be fresh... UNTIL YOU BIT THE CHICKEN. what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET ME TELL YOU. it looks all good n scrumptious, but was not... yall ever have chicken nuggets, that you re heated in the microwave, added a lil too much time to them, took them out and bit them....... you no that hard ass outside, and dusty maybe get a juicy bite inside???????????? YEP. that's what the chicken was like. I was so upset. NEVER AGAIN!!!! CHINATOWN YOU SUCK...

This used to be 1 of my 2 favorite restraunts to go to. The other one was on pine and Philadelphia street. I was gone for a long time and was excited to see that you guys was still around. I got my usual order that I always get from here which is crab ragoons and general tsao chicken. First I must say their food used to be delicious now its garbage. First the crab ragoons are no longer moon shaped and full of stuffing. Now they look like saucers with only a hint of filling. Your general tsao used to be on point and spicy enough for me to not have to ask for extra spice. Now don't get me wrong it smells the way its supposed to but it tastes like bland chicken with food coloring water (a Lil thicker than water)added to it. Your egg rolls taste ok it doesn't have the taste it used to have not sure if it has diff seasoning. However it will still fill u up. I was highly disappointed and sorry to say and never thought I would say this but I will not be coming back here until I hear your food is back the way it used to be. I was one of your best regular customers until I moved. Now I must search for a new favorite...

Horrible service, not only do they make you wait for an hour or more to get the delivery when they clearly say 45 minutes or less, they don't even pay attention to your order!! Once I ordered General Tso chicken and I got Orange Chicken, I've ordered house special soup and gotten like 5 thing in a bowl of water, I have order two combinations of the same and twice I've got only one combination of it!! Then when I call they say I can order another one and it will be an hour to be delivered!!!! It's outrageous not even an apology, they even answer the phone and then you hear them taking an order else where while your talking on the phone. I will never recommend it and I will never buy here! And the worst is not...
