Nice vibe and atmosphere. Coffee drinks were good. Problem is that I ordered an avocado toast, and the amount of avocado put on it was almost comical. Like whoever made it really stretched the limit of how thin avocado can be spread on toast and still legally call it avocado toast. If lacroix made an avocado flavored water thatās how much would be in it. My daughter just wanted a pb&j. The bread was ever so slightly stained purple in the middle, and there was maybe a 1/4 tsp of peanut butter spread evenly on it so that you couldnāt see it but I could smell there was at least some peanut butter. Like cāmon guys are you being stingy trying to save 2 cents on a toddlers pb n j today, or does the chef think people want their food that way?
I donāt mean to be snarky but idk how else to stress how outrageous the portions were. I didnāt know whether to laugh or be mad tbh like I thought the server was going to come back and tell me itās a prank. My sister and I both wanted to say something, but my wife strictly forbid it so we let it slide. I would go back for a early morning coffee dates cause my wife likes it there and it is nice inside, but wonāt...

Prince Street Cafe does stand out in an area thatās lacking in good-looking cafes, thatās for sure. Itās not terribly fancy, but it photographs well, and itās clean and uncluttered.
The coffee is mediocre. The owner spent all their barista tokens on a superautomatic machine that does everything with the single push of a button. Thereās no skill involved, and no reason to hire anyone who knows anything about coffee. It works, sure, but itās lazy, and immediately makes me think that thereās laziness happening elsewhere behind the scenes.
My cold brew coffee tasted like an americano thatās been in the fridge for a day or two. Definitely didnāt taste fresh. Iām not sure if they know how to make a proper cold brew, to be honest, because that wasnāt it. The aƧaĆ bowl was pretty decent, but on the smaller side, and not worth the $13 I paid, in my opinion.
That being said, our server was kind and as helpful as she was trained to be. Zero complaints there. I just feel bad that she doesnāt get to learn how to make proper coffee on a proper...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been to Prince Street Cafe many times, and the majority of the time nothing disappoints. Food is good, not the best Iāve had, but good nonetheless. However, there were two times we visited I felt like the service was slightly lacking. We went Sunday 7/16, and the food and drinks were great. However, what I found strange was the fact that our drinks took longer to come out than the food. We then went again Thursday 7/20, and I ordered a chai latte and a breakfast burrito. The chai latte was fine, but upon receiving my breakfast burrito, I discovered they had gotten my order incorrect. At the time, I had an appointment, so we left immediately after receiving our to-go order. As we drove away and I opened my box, the order had tomato, feta, pickled onion, etc. instead of sausage, bean spread, etc. Turns out they gave me the Cali egg wrap instead of the breakfast burrito, even though the bag given to me had my order number on it. The wrap wasnāt even well made- the tomato and feta stole the spotlight of the dish. I may come back again, but to order drinks,...
