I visited Stimulatte Cafe after receiving a mailer advertising 25% off your order during the second-to-last week of August. When I arrived, I was told the coupon could not be used until September. There was no mention of that on the flyer. I decided to try it anyway to support a small business.
I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk as my usual first drink at a new café. The barista said it would have matcha, ice, and frothed milk. When my drink arrived, the froth made the top bubbly, which felt strange for a cold latte. The color was off and darker than expected. It was also unexpectedly sweet, making it difficult to drink. After a few sips, I had to throw it away because it made me feel nauseous. Not a good feeling throwing away $7. For this same price, I would prefer Starbucks venti iced matcha latte. If the matcha is pre-sweetened or lower quality, that should be clearly shared with customers.
The café itself reminded me of a mix between Caribou and Biggby, with a cozy vibe, though some table and chair heights did not make sense. I have seen the owner respond to other negative reviews, and I would not be surprised if they respond to this one. The point of a review is to share one’s experience. Mine just was not a good one, but hopefully with time they will improve. I am sure some of their other drinks are good or fit other...
Read moreI was skeptical that this was just another coffee shop but so glad we stopped in and tried it! My husband got a bagel sandwich and hot mocha. I got a dirty chai and turkey and ham panini. Our 4 year old got a muffin and wild berry smoothie. Everything was so good. I'm glad there's a place we can get a tasty meal and good drinks with a very relaxing atmosphere. The sandwich menu is limited but it's GOOD.
The man who helped us was helpful with good recommendations and was polite. We will definitely be back! I look forward to trying one of the dessert pastries next time, they looked so good. It's a great addition to...
Read moreI stopped by this coffee shop and was seriously impressed! I ordered a cortado, and it was everything I hoped for—rich, smooth, and strong. Easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. For food, I tried a couple of their breakfast bagels. The turkey sausage, egg, and cheese was solid—definitely worth coming back for—but the turkey ham, egg, and cheese? Phenomenal. A unique twist on the classic breakfast bagel that really stood out. Beyond the food and coffee, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and just the kind of place you want to linger in. Definitely a gem worth supporting—local businesses like this help strengthen...
