Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Ypsilanti Charter Township

Completely broken retail operation... and it is absolutely pointless to order ahead online. At 8:58AM, I placed and paid for an online order for two Take 12 boxed coffees so I could bring them to an event that started at 10:00AM. I arrived at the store at 9:30AM, told the staff my name and order details, and they said that they could not find my order in their system. After giving them my order number, they found the order in their system and told me to sit in my truck and wait until they brought the order out to me. My order wasn't ready until 9:48AM, and I was late for the event I was bringing coffee to. Thanks Tim's!

It is very clear that this store is not staffed or managed properly. When I came in the store, I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes with several staff walking past me and absolutely no one greeting me, or telling me that someone would be with me soon, or getting a staff member to come to the counter to ask how they could help me. Additionally, once the staff found my pickup order in the system and were aware that they were keeping me waiting for an event, they made no effort to prioritize it and it took them well over 10 minutes to fill the two boxed coffees and bring them out. I'm disappointed in my last two visits.

My first visit, I came in the evening and asked for a decaf ice coffee, 1 cream, 2 sugar, and carmel, with whip cream added. I got a luke water down decaf ice coffee that was horrid. It was probably just made and it wasnt cool enough. Please inform customers because we could of done half regular and half decaf. They also added chocolate sauce on top of the whip cream, which is weird for a carmel ice coffee.

My next visit, which was today around 7 pm. I got a water bottle, a cheese bagel toasted with butter. I asked for the staff to cut the bagel in half (meaning into four pieces) so it's less of a painful experience to eat with the arthritis that's in my jaw. I did not get what I asked. I got a bagel not cut. Every other tim hortons cuts it WITHOUT me asking. As I was eating, the bagel managed to fall onto my lap cream cheese side down. There's no worries though, the unnecessary million napkins I was handed with one bagel sure did help.

Worst Tim hortons experience. Before I even ordered at the speaker I made sure to verify my drink was what it was before I ordered to be handed something other than what I was expecting at the speaker. Very big miscommunication with the staff and they would not accommodate. (No line behind me btw) I left and returned 3 times leaving upset every time, listening to the girls talk about me inside the store. I bought 2 drinks and they both were disgusting. I asked for a manager they told me to leave and call back. When I did I got hung up on 4 times before answering only to be told “they didn’t have a manager and didn’t know when they’d be back”. Will be calling my bank to have these charges removed. Dont go here. I’m 23 and have better things to be doing than leaving reviews over coffee. It was the principle and the way they spoke to me.
