I stopped into Beara Bakes today to pick up some treats for company I have coming in. Of course I got something for myself too - the croissant with a Biercamp hotdog was inspired! I'm also a sucker for Cat's biscuits - the best in Ypsi and Ann Arbor combined. The spot is charming with a bit of indoor seating. I loved being able to see back into the kitchen!! Beara Bakes not only has rotating selection of tasty treats reflective of both the community and their biography - it is also the coziest destination to have a sit down conversation with somebody who you truly love. The vibe is great and you feel the presence of the community upon opening the door. I almost don’t want to review this place because of what a gem it is and don’t want it to get crowded! In a cute, quiet cafe, I have found hands down the best biscuits I’ve ever had, and I’ve had dozens of biscuits and biscuit breakfast sandwiches at the top spots in various states down South.
