I used to live around the corner from this place and it would take them over an hour to bring my food. On a few occasions I got tired of waiting and just walked up there ordered the food and walked back. Some it was a case of a delivery driver not getting out of his car upon arrival. So I told the driver he could've simply knocked on my door. Now that I moved they say they don't deliver after "dark" which is vague. So they refused to deliver my order after I've already paid for online and they have yet to refund my money. Its been about a month now and I still haven't been reimbursed for my cancelled order. Very unprofessional I'd like to add that I tried to place an order at this JimmyJohns again and after waiting over an hour for my food, I called to find out what was going on and was told that they were behind on deliveries due to having only two drivers. So I asked if it would still be delivered since it's now dark although it wasn't dark when I placed the order. The guy puts me on hold for a few minutes then tells me that he would see if the driver could do the delivery otherwise he would call me back if he couldn't. Over an hour goes by so I call back to see if my order was coming or not. The person told me that the order was voided over an hour ago. I asked why wasn't I notified and I explained that the last time this happened I wasn't reimbursed. He said he would have a manager call me. Read moreI go to this Jimmy John's frequently because it is closest to home. In fact I've been there at least 3 times this week. Maybe I'm just one person and my boyfriend and I only spend $13-$20 each visit, but I feel as though I contribute enough to the store to matter. That being said:
My experience inside the establishment is becoming routinely dissatisfying. I'm really hoping someone from JJ's sees this post and seriously considers evaluation and improvement for this location.
When I order no onion it's no surprise for me to find my sandwich loaded with them. I've had a cashier ring in a bottled water onto my receipt; I had to ask for a copy to see the mistake and have it corrected. The manager carelessly helped me as if it were my fault. I have watched them put the wrong meats on my sandwich and have to take things off or totally remake the sandwich.
Bringing me to my delivery experience. I recently ordered delivery from this store mid-day. Everything went smoothly. I decide to order again because I don't want to go out. It's 1am and I am in for the night. Note that my house is 1.7 miles from the store according to Google Maps. After placing my order I get a call back saying that they don't deliver to my area after 10:00pm. I'm absolutely disappointed and I will go out of my way to buy from another Jimmy Johns. I understand that I'm in the "no delivery zone". But I'm really beginning to feel discriminated against because of the neighborhood that I live in. Read moreI received a voicemail from Jake yesterday for an interview today at 1:00. I called back and left a message asking for the address. Jake texted me the address as 537 Broadway. I showed up to Broadway St and found there is no such address. I looked up on the internet and saw there is a store at 537 Cross St. This store was closed about 2 years ago but has reopened. I called the customer service number and talked to Carly and was a mess. Carlytold me she couldn't do anything for me. Her supervisor, Christina was worse. She saw no problem with Jake giving me the wrong address. Even though it was 10 miles from the store and she couldn't explain how anyone could misspell Cross as Broadway. I told her I had filled out an online complaint form. When she looked it up she asked for my name. When she opened the complaint she told me that I pronounced my name incorrectly. Is she that stupid??!! According to the customer service representatives when you call them your complaint doesn't go anywhere beyond them. I was told by the supervisor that I will never talk to anyone higher up than her. This store needs to be shut down. When I called human resources I was transferred to a company in a foreign country where the employees barely speak English and definitely DON'T comprehend English!!
