2 Bits Café — Restaurant in Yuba City

I went with my mom to get breakfast, I got an omelette which tasted fine and was average no problems there. The hash browns however were not very brown or crispy, and had absolutely no seasonings and were very bland. I also got a cinnamon roll which I suspect was just thrown in a microwave, half of the sugar on it had fallen off onto the plate and was rock hard which was disappointing. My mom’s food however is the reason I’m even leaving a review. We brought our leftovers home, and the next morning she heated her food up and while eating found a CHUNK of plastic. The servers were nice but they weren’t attentive, and as for the general ambiance the other patrons in there were generally rude. Had an ugly older lady mean mugging me (a 17 year old). For the city of Yuba City, this place is a hit. For a big city, this would equate to a late-night Dennys last resort or an IHOP.

Not a place that I'm dying to go back to.

Needs more seasoning. More flavor. BLAND.

Overpriced. I couldve made better at home.

I would've much rather have gone to the Lumberjacks across the street; they at least have crispy hash browns and waffles.

Service was ok. They cater more to their regulars. Coffee cup was empty more than it was full. And the place wasn't even busy.

Ate here at 11:30 AM today and ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. It looked tasty when the food came to the table and I was warned the plate might be hot. Upon slicing into the chicken fried steak and taking the first bite, I learned that the homemade gravy barely had warmth left to it and was thick to the point that it was obviously old gravy. The chicken fried steak was also barely warm and tasted like old grease. I ate the hashbrowns and eggs and some of the toast.
