McDonald's — Restaurant in Yuba City

I am guessing this location does not have enough employees to work. Came here last night before closing and the drive-thru was blocked off. I was here a few weeks ago and I recalling hearing the shift manager thanking the employee for coming in and giving her a free iced coffee as a thank you. Anyway, if you have been to this location before they never get the orders correct and leave off the sauces or ketchup on your orders. I understand that they get paid such low wages but no one forced you to work here. If you can't pay attention to put in the correct items maybe this is not the place you should be working. Either that or get you heads out of the sky.

Update: 2/11/2022 It seems they have hired a new crew of mid managers, either through attrition or just new employees, because them seem to be better at the orders now. I don't see the long wait times or customers going back in to correct their orders. I would say they have become very efficient at what they do, maybe because of the new California minimum wages or just these current workers care about what they do. I am really impressed about the turnaround here at this location so I have changed my rating to 5 🌟 stars.

Update: 4/2022 This location continues to be spot on concerning their service. It seems since an entirely (maybe?) new crew has started working there it has been running smoothly. Well, at least to me I have not run into any problems that I have in the past, as in wrong and/or missing items, the current group of associates have been great and friendly, too. I don't know maybe the incentive of the minimum wage going to $15/hr. does not hurt moral either. Anyway, I do wish this location continues with the excellent service.

Update: September 17, 2022 Well, Google keeps asking me to update so here goes. Have not been in a while since I have been cooking more at home. When I came today it was during breakfast and there was already a line when I got there. Though it was busy the line moved very quickly and I received my order in a timely matter. They have remodeled this location to make the dining room larger while slightly reducing the order counter space. They also have a self service kiosk installed. I think all these options for ordering food are great for the consumer. From food delivery, online ordering and kiosks it just offer more conveniences for their customers.

July 2023: Still the same McDonald's but with better service now, in my opinion. But I grew up on McDonald's and back then there wasn't any In-N-Out, Habit, Red Robin or Carl's Jr. There was this place Wendy's or A & W. All Bad! Manager, Sereen Anderson incompetant! Onsite manager not stocking food stations consistantly and timely. Been in food service. Ordered pie, and Sundea, as it was the speciality of the week. Drive thrue rep responded was we had too wait 12 min for pies. In food service as you serve food you are to replenish FAST so you consistantly have food to cycle through to serve the public. As IT IS NOT DINE-IN 12 min is long time in fast food. SEREEN ANDERSON IS Losing food sales for McDonald's buy not enforcing employees to stock food in a timely manner to serve! They weren't out of pies. she said the " other food" was more important! As I called the manager out as I have been in food service asking J why she didnt put the pie in. We told her at the drive thrue window we wanted pies and would wait. As there wa 8 cars ahead of us. Pies would be almost done by the time we got to window so we thought. Once at drive thru window. She told is pies still not in. We asked " Why not"she replied " I am only 18" I said so what. I've been working since I was 14. As I started to film her. She then changed her demeanor and played the " We were rude card" refused us service. All this due to her not managing have pie, food available. I have the video. I also have family on fast food and high up in the McDonald's Corporation. I will be submitting a complaint and video. Contact district manager. Working in fast food. You must be fast and efficient with public. The times I go to McDonald's isnt often. But I have never had the them tell me they didnt have food, or not food made or wait 12min. I don't know what is going on with the Mc Donald's restraunt' s in this area but they are going down hill. First of all I asked for an ice cream cone, the lady behind the counter said, "We don't have ice cream cones." I walked over to a table and a lady was eating an ice cream cone. I walked back up to the counter and another girl was behind the register. I asked her if the ice cream machine was broke, did you run out? She said, "We have ice cream." WTH???? How can you work there and be so oblivious? So we get our food, we start eating and my granddaughter says, Grandpa, this is not a good hamburger and I don't want it. I checked it out and it was over cooked with next to no ketchup, onions in the middle of the burger only and no mustard like she ordered. My hamburger was just as bad if not worse. I ordered a Signature hamburger, it was loaded down with some kind of mustard sauce (in the middle of the hamburger only) not to mention my hamburger being over cooked.
