I don’t know if the drive thru intercoms at this location have poor reception or the volume is turned down too low but the lady who took our order today seemed to have MAJOR difficulty understanding my dad. He had to repeat himself at least 3 times and he spoke as slowly and clearly as possible. Not only that, but she still got the order wrong. Told the poor girl who brought our order out about it and she spoke to someone about it, came back out and said that the order was right. I checked the bag and the order was still wrong! So I had to go inside and tell them myself. The cashier spoke to a supervisor (who seemed pretty agitated) and she proceeded to speak in Spanish to the cashier while I was standing there, said nothing to me nor apologized for the inconvenience, and went back to re-do the order.
I have no problem with people speaking a language outside of English in the workplace but when you’re dealing with a customer who doesn’t speak the same language, it comes off as rude-like you’re talking about the person or saying bad things about them that you don’t want them to understand.
My advice to the people that work at this location- work on your active listening skills, make sure you got the order right, read back the order in its entirety and don’t shorten it, and don’t cop an attitude at customers who aren’t being rude to you. Well today we asked for extra fries in the happy meals and my husband ordered me an apple fritter. No apple fritter and no extra fries in the happy meals. Then we try calling and it rings multiple times. My husband tries calling and he's forwarded . so I try calling again and I get busy time like they took the phone off the hook. The first time they messed up the manager didn't even apologize said we could go back to get cheeseburgers with parties on them. Its getting old having to go back to an establishment and not even being apologized to. On tip of it no one answers the phone. I'm so annoyed and frustrated. We pay for this for our kids then we get them seats and a baby in the high chair only to tell them to wait because we have to go back to get their food corrected. Read moreOrdered food, took seats in lobby- 20 minutes later no food. 2 fish and fries. When I went to counter staff tried ignoring me. There were at least 2 maybe 3 managers on duty plus I'm assuming an owner or regional manager. He kept taking people off to the side to communicate with them. At one point took a female manager outside to talk. After the 20 minute wait I was told they were waiting on fries-NOT! You can make all kind of excuses but they will not fly I'm a former corporation manager for the chain. Fish sandwiches were cold and my sandwich was half assembled in my container. The fries were mediocre and most of them were in the bottom of the bag.
