As we arrived and greeted by the friendly host staff, I was excited to enjoy this establishment, but then it began. We were seated at a tiny booth, (as myself and the other gentleman I was with are not the smallest of people) so we squished in and browsed the menu, Trevor came and greeted us friendly, took our drink orders and gave us some time to look over the menu. He arrive back with our drinks, and took our order and swiftly got the ball rolling. The unsweetened tea could only be described as brown water, ( not sure if it was the stuff they served at Camp Lejeune) as our meals arrived I thought to my self this looks so good and I’m starving! As I cut into my steak I was greatly dissatisfied by the effort put forth by the kitchen staff, (I’m at a steak house they surely should know how to cook a steak) medium well….. and I ordered medium rare. As my friend cut into his steak that he ordered medium, only to be served shoe leather. Who the hell would eat a steak well done at a steakhouse no less this should be considered a sin. So we flagged Trevor down and he apologized for the mishaps and we assured him it wasn’t his fault the the kitchen staff was incompetent and need to learn how to properly cook a steak. Round 2! The steaks are back and I cut in to it just to find it raw and cold in the middle……… and my friends steak arrived back as medium well, at this point we have figured out they really have no clue how to cook a steak. As we are starving he choose to eat his but I still was not going to eat a raw cold steak. So Trevor once again returned it to the incompetent grill attendant to be thrown back on and burnt on the outside. As Trevor returned with the burnt meat and cold potato I cut in and found it over cooked again at this point I was to hungry to care and just ate it. My other disappointment was we had no visit from a manager or any form of team lead to ask us how our dining experience was, I think they were avoiding us the plague, too embarrassed by the lackluster people who are unqualified to use a microwave that they call their kitchen staff, or maybe the just don’t care. Either way I will not be back and I highly recommend spending your hard earned...
Read moreWe called Texas Roadhouse today at 11:30 to join the waitlist for a party of 8 for Mother's day. They said that a table would not be ready until 2:30. We said ok, knowing that it is a very busy day. So they took my name and phone number and explained to me that I was to text when all of the party had arrived and they would text back to come in when the table was ready. Ok. It hits 2pm and we head to the restaurant, since we only live a short distance from there. We parked and I texted that we were there. A couple of minutes later we get the text to come inside that our table was ready. We go inside and they proceed to get the menus and the rolls, and then take us back to be seated. They take us back to a booth, that is meant to seat 4 people, and tell us that we can also use this other booth. So the 2 booths are back to back with a glass divider between them. How is this supposed to be ok? We voiced our concerns to the lady that was seating us, and she said that she doesn't really think there is anything that she can do because they are so busy. She gets on her headset and tells someone on the other end that we were not happy with the seating arrangement and we were sent back to the hostess stand. The manager stood there, didnt even look at me and said that they don't guarentee that the whole party can sit together....wait what?. If we go to a restaurant together then we have the expectations of being able to sit together. I said well that would have been nice to know from the beginning. We would not have waited 3 hours if we had known this. So she says, well the only place that I have that seats 8 people is at the bar and people just sat there 20 minutes ago so it would be another 2 hour wait. I looked at the rest of the people with me and looked back at the manager and said that we would just go somewhere else. So, her response, with her snooty attitude, was ok, do what you want and have a nice day. That was the worst customer service I have ever had. I will not return to this restaurant. We ended up going to cracker barrel, and had no wait, very good food, great customer service, AND GOT TO SIT TOGETHER!!! Screw you Texas Roadhouse in...
Read moreMy parents and my significant other and myself came to this location on Friday 3/14/25 for dinner after traveling from northern Ohio for a bowling tournament. Soooo many things went wrong but let me start here… We checked in on the app to get added to the waitlist, it said 30-45 minutes, and we weren’t sat for at least an hour When the girl walked us to our table, she gave us burnt rolls and no plates to put them on to butter them and no silverware. Our server… she seemed anxious and just out of her element. She repeatedly did not check back on our table when more rolls or drink refills were needed, it’s like we were forgotten about. I ordered a $30 meal (fillet steak and bbq ribs combo) and my mother ordered the fillet which was also about $26… we ordered our steaks medium/medium well. We SPECIFICALLY stated that we’d rather it be too pink then over done and burnt… an house after placing our order, we were served our meal by the kitchen staff, and our fillets were DEAD. Gray, burnt, dry and gross. It took forever for the server to even come to our table to check on us after the food was brought out, and when we told her we were super unhappy with the steak and how it was cooked she said “I’ll get my manager”… 15 mins later the manager came out, looked at the steaks and agreed they were way overdone, he offered to put new ones on the grill for us and I agreed to that but requested more sour cream so I could at least enjoy my baked potato… he told me yeah no problem, never came back with it. I asked my serve for the sour cream, she said hi problem, never came back with it… it took me asking a total of 4 times to get a tiny cup of sour cream, come onnnnn! In total, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Texas Roadhouse and I’m a very frequent patron. Where I live there’s a location 2 miles from my house and I go there quite often. I just feel like the manager and the serve, neither of them, cared about how awful the experience was and both of them just acted as if my food being burnt was their inconveniences. It was not professional or kind of welcoming. Very...
