My boss and I were riding together for work and he had to get to a meeting with his lawyer. I couldn't be with him so on the way, he dropped me off there to eat lunch while he went to his meeting. So I eat and wait for him to get back. While I'm waiting, there is this shorter older lady ( assuming the manager ) walking up to a dude that looked like he may be homeless ( not sure on that ) and told him he needed to order something or leave. I understand she didn't want people taking up space at a busy time. But it was rude to make a whole scene and embarrass this man in front of the whole store when all he was doing was sitting. Then she walks past me a couple times doing whatever. Then she stop and says " Boy you've been here a long time " in the same time she went after the other dude with and I had to explain that I was waiting for my boss so I didn't get kicked out myself. The fact that I felt the need to explain to her busy that isn't hers at all really upset me. I mean REALLY upset me. I don't owe her an explanation at all and I bought food and ate there. I wasn't just hanging around taking space. I did not like this woman's attitude. I didn't make a scene or comment to her what I wanted. It took a lot to hold it in this happened like a month ago and I get mad every time it crosses my mind. So I figured I would make this post to warn others about the risk of explaining yourself or getting kicked out....
Read moreI went through the drive-through at approximately 9:30 in the evening for a pineapple mango lemonade and a six piece nugget to share with my dog. The order came to $5.82, so I gave the person at the second window at 10, a one, and two pennies, so that I would get a five dollar bill and two dimes back.
When I approach the window, no less than three women rushed over to visit with my dog. Amidst the excitement, I was given no change but an extra nugget for the pooch. When I called back and spoke with the shift manager, she said that no one came through the drive-through with my order.
I called back a little later and someone agreed to count the drawer, but the m drawer was not $5.20 over. This loss cost me approximately the same as a gallon of gas and it’s not worth me turning around on I 70 to retrieve even if the staff were honest enough to return it.
The nuggets were cold and unappetizing. My order was certainly not...
Read moreFood was great! Friendly service. The food was neatly placed in the bag. My only issue I that the lobby closes at 10 and we were hoping to get out of the car and stretch our legs and use the restroom. This Wendy's shares a building with a gas station. The doors from the side parking area were locked so we walked around to the other doors to use the restroom before going around the drive thru. The cashier informed us that Wendy's owns the restroom and since their lobby closes at 10, they lock the bathrooms at 10. Closing the lobby isnt that big of a deal to me but it irritated my significant other. Closing the restroom is what got me, especially since Wendy's employees were watching us try both doors. I'm sure it wouldnt be a big deal to leave them open until drive thru closes and I'm sure employees of both businesses would be thankful as well. Again, the food was awesome, just dont go at night if you...
