Blimpie — Restaurant in Zebulon

I'm a service tech with a soft drink distributor. So I visit alot of restaurants and stores every day. I was there to replace a fountain. The first thing that impressed me was how clean the restaurant was even though it's being remodelled. But then I listened to the owner having conversations with at least half of the customers. She knew their names and occupations. And their families in most cases. It was clear that she wasn't serving strangers, but that she saw them as friends. When I finished my work her husband and I sat and talked and he offered me lunch. That happens more rarely than you'd expect. So I sat with him and ate and had a great conversation. Both of the owners here are solidly good people. And the sandwich (which is what most of you are reading reviews to learn about lol); the bread was very fresh and soft. And it was loaded with meat and veggies just like I love them to be. I got the chicken bacon ranch whatever it was called. I write alot of reviews. Some good and some not so much. The food when it’s made like you ask is great.. but I think it’s the owner is the problem. She should stay away from making the food. She is so rude, and NEVER gives you what you ask or pay for. I asked for extra pickles twice and she literally gave me ONE PICKLE PER SECTION OF A 6 INCH. Every single time I ask for anything she gives you the very least amount of anything and rushes you while you’re trying to talk. We absolutely LOVE the owner. She is the reason we came back the second time not just the amazing subs. She works hard and not many people do anymore. She knows each customer and has such a genuine care. People drive MILES for her subs just like us. We are so grateful for her keeping blimpie open.

Updating because it's frustrating... we've been 3 times now when the hours say open and get there and it's not open... it's 6pm on a Saturday. Hours say...
