El Mariachi — Restaurant in Zebulon

I drive over 25 minutes, while passing by 4 other Mexican Restaurants to get food for my entire family at least twice a week from here. The food is good, but the people are rude. I usually look past it. But today, I called in my usual order at 4:15pm for lunch and made the drive to pick it up. There was a long line ahead of me, by the time I was 2nd in line, a woman came up to me at 4:56pm to ask what I was picking up, I told her and she walked away. I got up to the front of the line at 5:03pm, and the girl taking the payment said it was dinner price now. I told her I ordered at 4:15, the lunch portions and that I've been in line for a bit now. it's not like I pulled up at 5:30 to place an order and asked to get a dinner portion at lunch prices it was literally 3 minutes after 5. She went to get another person for me to talk to, and it was the same lady who came up to me BEFORE 5pm to see what I was there to pick up. She told me I'd have to pay dinner price for my lunch orders. I told her I come here often and order a lot of food for my family, and how I drive so far to deliberately get my food from here, and that she knew that I have been in a long line. I recently discovered this family-owned restaurant, and it quickly became my go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in Zebulon.

The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff.

The star of the show, however, is undoubtedly their salsa. As a discerning salsa connoisseur, I can confidently say that this restaurant boasts the finest salsa in Zebulon. It's fresh, flavorful, and perfectly complements the warm, crispy chips.

The menu offers a variety of reasonably priced dishes. I opted for the chicken chimichanga, and it was simply divine. The chimichanga was expertly fried, and the chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking Mexican cuisine in Zebulon. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be packed with patrons. I look forward to...

Horrible,... I keep trying to write a true review but they stopped me from posting it..... Here's my one more time. I ordered $30 worth of food... The chips were soft stale like they've been baking for 24 hours.... I ordered three soft tacos which came out with just chicken and a few heated and wet lettuce... I ordered three hard shell tacos which came out soft all of and what lettuce... I ordered fajitas they gave me two soft wraps with the steak peppers and bean sauce and whatever sauce they added all mixed together it was completely nasty I'm very disappointed... I threw every single bit of it out please go to Taco Bell and at least you will get food separated and you will enjoy a hell of a lot better than you would this place this was absolutely horrible this was a not a true...
