Service can at times be slow because they do such a great job making their sandwiches. They use the best ingredients, spend enough time to make the sandwich neatly, and as a result, they make some of the best tasting sandwiches I've ever had. They put a lot of meat on each sandwich. You pay for what you get. Some of their sandwiches can get a little pricey, but I'll gladly pay every once in a while for such a good Lunch. This is a small, order-at-the-counter "deli". It seems almost stopped in time a few decades ago. Nothing wrong with that. The employees were friendly, service was fast and the reuben sandwich was tasty. Marbled rye with a nice stack of hot corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. I was out running errands and decided to stop in for breakfast. I have enjoyed Big Daves Deli in the past and today I wanted the half order of biscuits and gravy.
