HDP Smash Burgers (26 de marzo) — Restaurant in Montevideo

The entire experience was amazing!!! We had the fried chicken sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. Both were amazing and please try the jalepeno sauce. Every person that works here made this experience so much more enjoyable. The cook and both the young ladies were super sweet. The cook talked to us about the food before he prepared it for us which was very sweet of him. They were all very attentive and just over all sweet people. I highly recommend this place if you are in Uruguay. The fried chicken is crispy just the way you want and the pulled pork is very tender and tasty. The portions are big which we loved although we were only able to eat half of each sandwich. Oh and the cheese bread/buns were so fresh. You could appreciate that with each bite. This place by far makes the best hamburger in Montevideo. We really enjoy it with my girlfriend. However there is one thing that bothers me about this place. The employees are keep asking if l want to pay tip when I am actually picking up the food after waiting for 30 mins standing outside. This is not how it works in terms of carry out food concept. I've never had a restaurant asking for a tip when not eating in the restaurant. I am tired of rejecting to include %10 tip. Please ask your employees to stop doing this. I cut that 1 star due to this actually. Otherwise the quality of your food deserves 5 stars or even 10...

Éste es el típico caso en donde todo el mundo habla de un lugar, se pone de moda, lo ponen allá arriba como el mejor y a la hora de la verdad esta muy lejos de la realidad. De hecho, yo fui por las enormes recomendaciones a él.

Según mi experiencia;

La hamburguesa es demasiado chica, hamburguesas + papas + bebidas no da para que quede satisfecho, no como mucho, mas bien poco, pero el tamaño de la hamburguesa es demasiado chico. Supuestamente son 100g cada una, pero se ve demasiado fina para llegar a ese peso.

Fuimos al loca, te cagas de frío, tienen la puerta abierta, imagino que es para no morir de calor los cocineros que están ahí dentro, casi alado tuyo cocinando, además sería imposible abrir y cerrar la puerta todo el tiempo para llevar los pedidos afuera, la realidad es que el lugar no está preparado para comer ahí, no sólo es chico, tampoco esta adaptado. Por ejemplo, rompería parte de la pared de la cocina y pasaría los pedidos por una ventana para que quienes están adentro no tengan que pasar frío comiendo. Las mesas y sillas son altas y muy, muy chicas, lo mismo, demasiado chico el lugar.

El sabor tampoco es el mejor que probé en una hamburguesa, normal.

Éste comentario no es con mala onda, sino más bien para alejar el fanatismo a un lado y hablar esencialmente de lo cierto. Sin hype.

Por este precio y tamaño, y con mejor sabor, iria a Rudy, que también son incómodos sus locales y también está demasiado hypeado, pero por la misma plata es mejor en todo sentido.

HOY, la mejor opción que conozco en precio, sabor y tamaño es Valito Burguers.
