Authentic Experience Just Minutes from the City Center!

Only a short taxi ride from the old town – and absolutely worth it! At first, we thought the place was closed, but don’t be fooled by the outside. Inside, you can choose between regular tables or a traditional floor seating area.

There’s no menu, which surprised us at first, but it makes sense – there’s only one dish. We were automatically served Plov, bread, and tomato salad. We also ordered pickled vegetables and a kind of tzatziki that we had seen in photos on Google. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. Except the bread, we had better.

We paid 140,000 som in total, including a bottle of iced tea – very reasonable. Card payment was accepted without any issues.

Our tip: Don’t hesitate to leave the city walls – this hidden gem is definitely worth...

This was hands down the best plov we had during our three weeks in Uzbekistan. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us despite being the only tourists in the evening during Ramadan. The portion was massive, we could hardly finish it, there was a lot of meat unlike other plovs we had had in other cities. The roasted garlic was a delicious addition. The place cooks arguably the best plov in Xiva. However before coming there you should call them (2-3 hours before) and order your plov. Do not come there without booking. Also, plov in Khorezm is different from plov lets say in Toshkent. Insetad of lamb you are gonna have beef, hence it's a more diet meal.
