Read moreI am writing this review not about the food or the restaurant itself—because if the food was bad, I wouldn’t have ordered in the first place. My complaint is about their poorly managed online ordering system and lack of clarity on delivery charges.
In the photo what I was charged delivery 46000 and what I was getting is 18000
You can see
Here’s what happened: I placed an order, expecting a reasonable delivery charge. However, when the delivery arrived, I was shocked to find out that the delivery fee was almost 50% of my order value—something that was never clearly mentioned while placing the order. When I asked for the charges upfront, the person handling the orders was unclear and vague. Instead of providing transparency, they simply said, "The order is already on the way."
When I tried to call and get some clarification, the response was completely unhelpful:
"I don’t know."
"I cannot help."
"I cannot give any discount."
"You have to pay like this."
This is completely unacceptable. It doesn’t matter whether someone is rich, middle-class, or struggling—money is hard-earned, and no one likes to be tricked into unnecessary expenses. I had a cheaper delivery option available, and I could have easily arranged for it if they had just informed me properly.
If a restaurant is too busy to manage online orders properly, they should not accept them at all. Either handle the process professionally or temporarily stop taking delivery orders until you can provide a smooth experience. Customers should not be forced to pay hidden charges just because of poor management.
I will be sharing screenshots and proof of this experience. If this is how they continue to operate, they will lose loyal customers, no matter how good their food is. I hope the restaurant management takes this feedback seriously and improves...
Read moreFood was good but I would never visit this restaurant nor recommend this to anyone. The attitude of the owner and the staff isn't customer oriented. As soon as I entered restaurant, my first question to the person on counter was if I could pay by card as I didn't have any cash. He said yes you can pay by card. And i ordered my food. When bill was presented and i wanted to pay by card, they said I can't pay via card. I said that I ordered my food only after clarifying if the card payment was possible else would not have ordered. The staff member got angry and he said I didn't ask anything about card payment. When I asked them to check the cctv footage whether I asked or not, they said the person I asked doesn't speak English. Mind you, the person I asked looked like an important staff member and he was present at the counter when I entered. The hotel staff kept arguing with me asking me to bring cash from outside.
Thankfully I had leftover 20 usd in my purse and i paid using the same. I left wondering what if I didn't have those 20 usd in my bag...mind you, it was 9:30 pm and the attitude of the owner and staff wasn't comfortable at all.
Note for owner - miscommunications might happen but atleast your staff can be polite. Being an owner , you should take a high road and instead of giving excuses, you should have the courtesy of atleast apologizing and giving multiple...
