The food was OK, if a little overpriced for Uzbekistan. We went for breakfast & had omelette & coffee. The omelette were about 70,000 som, which is about £5/$6 which is at the high end for Uzbekistan. It's a brasserie, though so expected. Coffee was 30,000 or £2/$2.5. The service was OK too & some of the staff spoke English which helped us. Sadly, though, the experience was let down at the end when we came to pay. The card machine was broken. We wre not told this when we were seated. We didn't have enough cash. The restaurant didn't have a backup card machine or a manual machine to take an imprint of any of our many cards. So one of our party was then expected to walk 1km to the nearest ATM, which, of course, we did, we had no choice. The whole experience made us feel like we didn't have the means to pay, though. We were looked at as if it was our fault & the staff kept an eye on us visibly while we waited for the cash to return. Clearly not trusting us. We asked for water while we waited as it was a warm day. 1 glass was brought for us for 3 people. In this day & and age, what restaurant relies on one card machine for a place that looked like it could comfortably serve over 150 covers. Have a backup & save the embarrassment. Also, tell customers when they arrive if the card machine is broken, so they can decide if they want to continue to eat there. 1 star because the end massively let the whole experience down. Not good.

As a group of 6 friends, we ate dinner there. Immediately upon arrival the staff felt a bit unfriendly. We ordered our food and two main courses came quite quickly, before our appetizers. The food for the majority of the group was served once the first part of the group finished their plates. The last main dish came almost an hour after most of us finished our dinner. They also brought a wrong dish for one person and they denied their mistake. We had to argue and go through their electronic orders to prove that they brought the wrong dish. In the end they wanted to charge for the dish they mistakenly brought, and added another 20% of service fee, although the service was atrocious. We had to argue for 20 minutes with the staff and the manager to get the unordered dish and the ridiculous service fee...

Absolutely terrible experience. I’ve never seen a restaurant more eager to push guests out the door the moment the clock ticks close to closing time. Zero hospitality. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, the staff basically rushed us through the meal and made it clear we were no longer wanted — while we were still eating. The service was impromptu, sloppy, and clearly not focused on customer satisfaction. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy your food, this is NOT it. Plenty of better spots in town that actually understand the meaning of service. One star, and...
