ATECA Hotel Suites — Hotel in Tashkent

Very good hotel that was really clean, in what felt like a very safe area. The room was also very clean and large with a very comfortable bed, good shower etc. |The location was good within 10-15 minutes walk of metro stations and near some decent restaurants and it was only a short and cheap taxi ride to the main attractions if you didn’t want to use the metro.|The hotel restaurant and bar were also very good - we ate there on our 1st night and food and drinks were very good quality and the service and staff were also very good.|The staff on reception were also very friendly and helpful, and several spoke English so there were no communication issues.|The hotel is also next door to a bank/atm and a few minutes walk from a good Ucell phone store that we used (staff there were very friendly and helpful) as the queues for phone sims was very long at the airport. This means that if you use the hotel’s airport arrival transfer service you can skip the queues (and higher sim prices) and get your sim and cash once you're at the hotel.|Although we arrived too early for check in they also let us store our bags safely so that we could start exploring the city. |Very good value stay and we would definitely use again...

This is a good, new hotel, about 15 min on foot from undergroud station Oybek. Airport is about 20 min by taxi. There are many good restaurants nearby. |Large, clean rooms. Good and tasty breakfast. Good service at restaurant. |But the reception service is the weakest. They tried to add vat and tourist taxes to the price set in the guaranteed reservation. There was text "taxes and fees included". We spend 40 min at the reception... At 8pm... After arrival from Samarkand. They tried to explain it. Error in IT system etc explanation. The longest check in our career... But finally the problem was resolved. We talked with manager, everything was explained etc. Good impression. |And finally, after check out next day early morning the reception staff asked us about small tea spoon which the maid can't find it at the room!!! Really??? This is 4*hotel??? Good impression was over. |It was our second stay at Tashkent. During the first stay, at another boutique hotel, we have not experienced this type...
