I had a couple hours left in Tashkent and was looking forward to spending the last hours of my trip in this promising coffee place to relax and have lunch. However, I did not feel welcome at all. The two employees were arrogant and did not want anything to do with me, a tourist with a backpack.
The girl didn't give me enough change back and when I showed her, she didn't have the change of 10.000. As I was planning to stay for a while, I offered I will order something else later and we can fix it then. But the vibe was terrible and I left without ordering more. They could keep their 10.000. As I am leaving the country I would have preferred to give away my last 200.000+ som as a tip instead, but as you can understand I didn't.

They do their own roasting and the pour overs and batch brews were some of the best I’ve had anywhere in the world (I live in NYC). The baristas know their stuff too if you’re the type of person who likes to discuss the finer points of coffee making.
